Wii U eShop Thread

Are they gonna give us any Christmas sale?

There's already a bunch of 3rd party games on a big Xmas sale right now that runs until 31/12/15 (and there's more being added to it on Thursday).

I don't think we're gonna see any 1st Party Nintendo games get discounted. They've already done their Black Friday weekend sale and I think that's all we're getting as far as 1st party games go.

I wanted 1st party games :D.

Most of the third party games on sale aren't in my focus (I did get Stealth Ink, Thomas was alone, I have Darksiders from before.....).

I am still pissed of for missing on some games on black friday (but I am happy that I've got Xenoblade Chronicles as I wouldn't have done it otherwise :)).

Got Tengami in the eShop Christmas sale, it's a nice change of pace from FAST Racing NEO.

Nowt. Yakuza 5 is keeping me busy and I've then got Xenoblade to get through. :hehe:

BTW, The Swapper is pretty great (loved the ending to that game ;)) played it on PS4 earlier in the year.

Nowt for me either. Wasn't really interested in most of them and the ones I did want to try I got on PS+ a while back.

Thomas Was Alone and Stealth Inc 2, TWA looks quite good, I have played 20 levels or so, while I am not sure what to think of SI2, as I have only played for about 10min.

I considered picking up Never Alone to play cooperatively but it's looking like I won't bother at this stage. I feel like I'm zoning in on some VC games I already own and am not really feeling the need to add to the pile :heh:

Minecraft: Story Mode Hits The Wii U eShop This Week

Minecraft: Story Mode - A Telltale Games Series will be coming to Nintendo's Wii U console on January 21st with the first episode, 'The Order of the Stone,' available in the Nintendo eShop on Wii U in North America and Europe for $4.99 or equivalent.

The Order of the Stone will cost $4.99, and additional episodes are set to arrive "in the coming weeks". A season pass option will cost $19.99 and allow access to episode one and the remaining 4 episodes as they become available for download. The game will showcase off-TV play and screen mirroring, as well as touch-screen controls.

I have no interest in Minecraft games, but this is different, so did anyone play this? Is it good?

So this is interesting...

http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1179590

Someone from NOA trying to get in touch with Toby Fox?

I can't see how Undertale could come to a console in its current form... It would have to have SIGNIFICANT changes to be doable on Wii U or 3DS (or any non PC platform for that matter).

It would certainly take some determination to do so...

Toby also said that he contacted them months ago about trying to get it on the Wii U. He said it would take a great amount of work to do so, given the engine it's running on.

Broken Rules have said they would be willing to have a crack at it.

He just made another set of statements last night...

Looks like it's likely to happen now! :D Let's just hope that Broken Rules get there before Nicalis ;)

This was also joked about on Gaf. Can't say I blame people saying this, given the Nicalis track record of releasing games. :D

It will be interesting to see if this actually comes about. I was hoping to try it one day but after watching some videos of the game the whole thing just looks weird and, quite frankly, stupid. I don't think it's my type of game.
