Pokemon Snap is getting a Virtual Console release in Japan, hopefully it's not too far behind in Europe!

Who the hell is gonna buy Other M for £18?

With the 50% off code, presumably it can be bought for £9....

Thinking of downloading all the Fire Emblem games that are on sale. Are they all worth it?

I am a long term Fire Emblem fan and have played all of them through to completion.

Fire Emblem is the best by quite a distance in terms of plot mechanics and just general game play, but it is quite hard. There is no ability to level up your characters without taking a risk at the arena. Probably the best Fire Emblem for me until the 3DS game. The story is a prequel to the Fire Emblem of Roy (which was not released outside of Japan) involving his parents- if that sort of thing interests you.

Sacred Stones does not have quite as good story and does not have quite as many secrets as the original, but does have out of level support missions that you can use to grind up your characters if you are struggling.

Shadow Dragon is OK (it is still a Fire Emblem game), but I felt that it suffers in terms of story and mechanics from being originally a NES game. It really shows through.

All have permadeath only because that was the only option back in the day.

Should also say that each game gives you about 25-30 maps in the core game, plus a few extras and should take about the same number of hours, give or take, to complete. If you get into it, all will be very good value for money.

Just edited - yes probably. Have you played any other game in the series? If you have and liked it, or if you like Advance Wars, I don't think you can go too far wrong.

Bought them (already had Fire Emblem), I own the gamecube games, absolutely loved Awakening, one of my top 5 3DS games, and adore Advance Wars too!!

I picked up FreezeMe the other day. Utter pants. The controls are very twitchy and the jumping is all over the place. The game is clearly a homage to the 3D Mario games but it lacks the polish and precision of Nintendos offerings.

That's a great price for New Super Luigi U. I'd have been gutted had I paid £17.99 for it a couple of weeks ago but my brother kindly sold me back the physical version as he said he'd probably not play it again :hehe:

I've decided to go digital only for games I can't get otherwise, at least for now. Since I've started trading my games with other people I have managed to play a lot more games than I would be able otherwise.

I'm currently playing through Chronicles of Teddy for a review but I'm experiencing technical issues - sound disappearing, console freezing. Anyone else having these problems?

Great game, though, I just got book two, bought the new sword and started collecting some beetles in the new area. Really enjoying it, and the atmosphere, graphics and sound (when there) are great!

I was hoping to be able to download the lost reavers demo to my Wii U - but it seems you can't do that. Not sure if it is because it is a beta, not out yet or because it never will be made available.

You can do it with Yoshi's Story already, so it cannot be time related. You can also do it for Runbow and Star Sky 2. Just because it is a beta then?

Nintendo

I guess it's time for Shovel Knight.

Has anyone tried Shadow Puppeteer?

PS Never Alone looks interesting for this price.
