Wii U eShop releases for this week

Wii U eShop

How to Survive (505 Games, €13.99 / £12.59) — Zombies are everywhere on most platforms, though Wii U has somewhat missed out aside from the excellent ZombiU. 505 Games won't let that stand, and its isometric survival game — set on an island — in which you forage for items and fight off the undead is here to fill the void. We'll pack our cricket bat and head off to the island for our review.

Wii U Virtual Console

Wario Land 4 (Nintendo, €6.99 / £6.29) — The Game Boy Advance range picks up once again on the Wii U, this time with a terrific platformer starring the somewhat overweight and greedy villain. In addition to his impressively varied move-set, Wario can undergo transformations when attacked by certain enemies, while some mini-games are thrown in for good measure. You can check out our glowing recommendation in our Wario Land 4 review.

Chromophore: The Two Brothers Director's Cut and Pier Solar

Imma try this:

HHHNNNNNGGGGGG!

The first game you mentioned was supposed to be a glitchy mess upon release, so I'll be keeping an eye on reviews when it gets a Wii U release to see if it's up to scratch.

Pier Solar has been on my radar for a while. It looks amazing.

They've meant to have completely rewritten and fixed everything for Two Brothers, so here's hoping!!!

This is the full game, right? Amazing deal. Is it worth buying a Wii U right now just to save that ~£10. :o

So if it can read cross devices, and games are on both, then there is NO REASON WHATSOEVER not to have cross platform play!

Why is Toki Tori 2+ £12.99 on my eShop?

The eShop updates every Thursday, so it should become that price sometime tomorrow.

In my experience, the eShop updates at 15:00 CEST/14:00 BST sharp! I've never seen an update late, even by minutes, and I'm usually online on my Wii U this time every week if my schedule allows it.
