Retro_Link Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Title says it all, just letting you know! :p Bargain, and better than the rip-off price you pay for auto-renewal!
Retro_Link Posted September 11, 2012 Author Posted September 11, 2012 A £14.99 virus is still a virus.Is this you saying you don't like Norton?
Rummy Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Was gonna say, you'd have to pay ME to get Norton! Not to poopoo your thread, but I prefer the free alternatives to security that are out there. However, this is a good deal if anybody's already using it. I'll actually have to check what my brother uses and maybe let him know... Hmm, had you a link, @Retro_Link, to make it easier?
Shorty Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 There are a tonne of alternatives that use up less system resources and don't cost a thing. AVG. Microsoft Security Essentials. Avast!
Retro_Link Posted September 12, 2012 Author Posted September 12, 2012 @Rummy, the deal only ran for yesterday unfortunately.
Rummy Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 @Rummy, the deal only ran for yesterday unfortunately. Dammit, I swear your post said 'Today' on it when I checked when it was posted! Teach me to be on tinternets so early in the morn There are a tonne of alternatives that use up less system resources and don't cost a thing. AVG. Microsoft Security Essentials. Avast! But...but...if you pay for something then you obviously get more!
Jimbob Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 As much as thats a bargain for people, it's not for me. Same as Cube and Rummy really, it's a virus within itself and i wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.
Sheikah Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Why on earth would you pay £15 for a home use antivirus? I am quite baffled.
