Recommended Posts

Whenever anyone talks about music from games and actual songs, this is always the first combination that springs to mind.

Snoop Dogg's "Drop It Like It's Hot" is a complete rip off of Kirby's Theme (the dreamland music, I think).

Rick Astley's is very similar to Robo's theme from Chrono Trigger.

Interesting article.

Oh yeah... And then there's Spring Yard Zone in Sonic, that I swear, it sounds like a sitcom opening I heard once.

If by "influenced" you mean "ripped off" then sure :p

I didn't realize so many were such blatant copies. I only knew about the Under Logic/Move Any Mountain and Fighting in the Street/Pump up the Jam - the rest were a shock.
