Hey. I'm looking for Xenoblade Chronicles. Will pay €15 including postage depending on condition. I could have bought it in GAME last week for €25 but thought I'd get it cheaper. Then it was reduced to €15 but now it's sold out. I don't like how GAME convert pounds to euros. £10 does not equal €15, it's under€12, GAME are always ripping off Irish customers but that's another story. So anyway, if anybody has a copy that they're finished with, I'd like to buy it.

@Wii I could sell you my second copy but I'd only be willing to let it go for what I paid for it plus postage which would basically be €30 as that roughly translates to £25 which just about covers my costs once Paypal take their commision for transferring the money... this is assuming you have a Paypal account?

The game is boxed and complete in new condition, I'm pretty sure now that Game have sold off their stock it will only go up in value but I purchased the second copy when I saw it because I knew it would become hard to find with a view to possibly selling it to someone who genuinely wants it, such as yourself.

So anyway, the offer is there if you want it. :)

Thanks but no thanks. I didn't turn it down at €25 to go and pay €30. It just wouldn't make sense. Gamestop here have a load of copies of the game for €40 but they're not shifting at all so they might reduce them in time. Thanks again for the offer but I'll see if somebody has a better one.

This seems like a game that will get more and more valuable. I don't think you'll have a cat in hell's chance of buying the game for a paltry 15 euros considering it's not even that old, and that it's very awesome and not exactly common.

Seems like GAME were selling it at a very reduced rate for a very small window of time. Absolutely mental that you would turn down S.C.G. at 25 euros new to be honest!

I have no problem with holding onto my second copy, it'll blatantly become more valuable but I just figured it'd be better to let it go for the price I paid plus postage to someone who genuinely wants to play it but I guess I'll keep it for now.

@ Sheikah

I'm not turning him down at €25, he's asking for €30. I had a chance to buy it in GAME for €25 and I turned it down but when it was reduced to €15 I was too late, it was sold out. So I don't want to pay more than I turned down.

Also looking at Ebay, the completed price listings has dropped significantly. Add to that when it's released in the States I think it'll drop further as I believe most of the Ebay purchasers are from there.

I may be wrong, it's just my opinion but I think if I wait it'll drop in price once demand has been met in the U.S. and Canada. Like I said there's a load of copies going nowhere fast in my local Gamestop at €40 and it's out near 5 months so they may be reduced soon. Don't GAME own Gamestop?

I appreciate S.C.G's offer but I can't justify in my mind to turn it down at €25 to then pay €30 not even 2 weeks later. You say the game is boxed and in new condition. Do you mean it's new and sealed or as good as new? Are the VIP points used?

It's basically good as new, box, manual, disc all in new condition with no scratches on the disc and yes the vip points code is unused.

@ Ike

Thanks for the tip-off.

@ S.C.G

Thanks for the answers. I can stretch to €20 including postage if you're interested and yes I have Paypal.

I haven't heard of Grainger games before, are they good?

Only used them a couple of times, and that was before they redesigned the site a couple of times but I didn't have any problems. Games arrived the next day. Never used them for preorders.

I'd hazard a guess that when this hits america, it'll rise in price again over here. Honestly though, one of the best games on wii, and I still haven't even finished it.

Why would it go back up in price? If anything it'll drop further once market demand has been satisfied on the other side of the water. I'd say at least half the sales on Ebay are from America and they've dropped off recently as has the price.

Looks like I'll just hold onto my second copy then. :indeed:

Out of interest I did look on eBay and the cheapest Buy it Now price is near enough exactly the same as the price I was offering.

Quite honestly, if there's anyone who wants the game I would get one for £24.99 Buy it Now while you still can because I doubt there will be many more reasonably priced copies on there after those have sold.

It's £20 (about 25Euro) at @S\.C\.G

I did offer €20 including delivery?

My offer of £25 (€30) would have only just covered my costs as I paid about £22 for the game and postage would be about £3...

Anyway, I've decided that I might as well just hang onto it but I wish you luck in finding a copy for the price that you're after :) why not buy from Grainger Games? as they seem to be the only place selling it for £19.99 atm or as I said before eBay... while it's £24.99 honestly I feel those are your best bets given the circumstances.

Yep, considering you only need to pay 5 euros more than the 20 euros you want to pay for S.C.G.'s copy to get a sealed and delivered copy wouldn't it be best to just get it from Grainger Games while you can? This game is so great, it seems mental to spend time haggling over 5 euros. I'd pay 5 euros to get it sooner rather than later just because the game is so awesome!

I'd consider it but do they even post to Ireland and if so how much? I can't find it on their website.

This is very painful to read.

You're not going to get it much cheaper than it is right now. Maybe a few quid, if you're lucky. I have the game on my shelf, ready to be played straight after Zelda...I've not heard one person on this forum say that it isn't worth every single penny.

Getting it for 20 euros or 20 quid or whatever seems great. Just bite the bullet, pay the price, enjoy the game.

They do. Their shipping options when you checkout-

UK Free

EU £6

World £10

Not sure whether you could contact them to ask if Ireland can be free, if not it'll come to £26.

Absolutely right.

I got my game-only copy recently for £20, then a week later I found out that GAME were selling the CCPro bundle version for a tenner! I was livid!

However, all of that was before I'd even played the game. Since I've started playing it, that anger/annoyance has completely disappeared.

Xenoblade Chronicles is amazing, and basically guarantees like 80+ hours of entertainment, so you can't go wrong even at full price.

I saw that in GAME just before Xmas, that they were selling it at a tenner and I was shocked (did consider buying the games myself even though I already bought the CCPro bundle on launch). I have a feeling that they were trying to shift the last of the stock as I haven't seen any new copies hit the stores since those last couple of copies were sold at that price.

Don't think there'll be another print of the game here in Europe. Nintendo have done two (sold out completely of the first print and pretty much all of the second one) and more than recouped costs for localisation and their attention is elsewhere with other titles to localise. There may be a smaller reprint of the game solus (CCPro bundle is done now) but this'll only increase in price from now on tbf.

This would be good but £6 for delivery and free for UK residents? It really is terrible treatment for Irish customers in general. I never seen the classic pro bundle at any stage anywhere. When there are sales, they never charge the sterling equivalent. Actually that goes for normal RRP as well. I don't think this game will ever become like say Skies Of Arcadia for Gamecube. Xenoblade had a big enough production run. I seen 3 copies in 1 shop alone yesterday but it was €40 but I'll be damned if I'll pay that. Patience!
