dabookerman Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 yup exclusive, i say, the revolution has now been finished, and is ready for production, to be released on may. thank me later took russian of because its freezing for some people apparently
DCK Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 And you got that from a very famous and reliable Greek source?
YenRug Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 Actually, it's Russian: According to the communication of Danish site Inside Gamer, prefix Nintendo Revolution is completely completed and ready to series production. The journalists of resource refer to the Japanese publication Dengeki, which is counted sufficiently to reliable. It is possible to assume that the previously appeared rumors about the possibility of appearance Nintendo Revolution during March-April are completely real. (Translation through Babelfish) EDIT: Thought I'd dig out the site in question: http://www.insidegamer.nl/content.php?id=8971 News ' Nintendo has the Nintendo Revolution finished ' Saturday 24 December 2005 | to rumours Nintendo the Nintendo Revolution will have finished. Thus a prominent Japanese magazine writes (Dengeki). Nintendo this has however not yet confirmed officially. The Revolution would be mainly ready, there small matter still some must be adapted. The game computer must launch in second half of 2006 worldwide. - Lauran bears Source: Dengeki (Translation through Babelfish)
broadwayrock Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 I wonder how many Revolution games will go gold between now and May 2006.
Shenlong Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 Hope this is true though unveiling at E3 then shortly releasing may lead to lack of demand initially, either that or a mad upsurge in demand over the few weeks before launch...well guess i just got to wait and see now. Hope it's true though if i had to wait til next november i'd probably lose all interest in it, i mean its like 12 months away damnit! And so much for releasing before the competition, Sony are being pencilled in for Septemeber if the sources from a thread in the 'other consoles' section is to be believed.

Konfucius Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 If this actually is true it could mean that there is a worldwide launch shortly after E³ with enough consoles available, however, this sound too good to be true.
RuneSP Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 Hmm babelfish It's not Danish but a Dutch site hehe had some problems finding the danish parts meself too :P
James McGeachie Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 Just remember by "worldwide launch" they didn't mean it'd be released everywhere at EXACTLY the same time, just with not as long as usual between releases. If it was out in May in Japan, it'd probably be likely to assume September at earliest for Europe I think, but likely later. I still don't expect it until at least August for Japan/US though myself.
dabookerman Posted December 26, 2005 Author Posted December 26, 2005 heres a thing to think about, xbox 360 was unvieled in may, unfinished, and released in november rev will be fully unvieled in e3 06 as the final product. so from there they could produce them, which would take 3 months for a million or so to be manufactured.
NeoBlizz Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 heres a thing to think about, xbox 360 was unvieled in may, unfinished, and released in november rev will be fully unvieled in e3 06 as the final product. so from there they could produce them, which would take 3 months for a million or so to be manufactured. Question is though WHEN will it be finalized and put in production. I mean what's to say that its not finished before e3, lets say in april and put in full production then?
Gaijin von Snikbah Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 Finally EA knows what the release dates for their first Revolution games are gonna be.
harribo Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 Question is though WHEN will it be finalized Have you read a single thing in this thread?
Pit-Jr Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 http://www.nintendojo.com/infocus/view_item.php?1135618500 Citing R-E Forums as a source? Have they no integrity?

I've already worn out my welcome...
Sonic238 Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 maybe just this could be the revo's final secret?... or the super-über-name Nintendo Entertainment Revolutionary System? ;D
DCK Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 Dengeki is Japanese right? It's probably just a misunderstanding. Even if it had gone gold Nintendo would probably wait at least until September to launch it, just to give them time to hype enough during the E3.
Sooj Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 Dengeki could hve been talking about a Gold coloured Revolution to match the Gold coloured DS, right? Right? No? Ah well Meh, wether it has gone gold or not we still have to wait for the games. Although if they put the console on sale tomorrow packed with a demo showing off the features and the virtual console set up (enabling me to download past games) then that would make me happy until actual Revolution games are released, anyone else feel the same?
DCK Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 I'd rather have them put 6 more months of precious development time for hardware and network than the virtual console
ThePigMarcher Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 I can't see this holding up , what with e3 and all that. I would presume Nintendo would like a bit more post e3 time to raise awareness and expectations a bit more. Although , saying that , it could tie in nicely with a likely Cube release date for Zelda TP.
nicolasmasset Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 ThePigMarcher, I think the "post e3 time to raise awareness and expectations a bit more" is gonna go all "Pre e3" on us this time around. I've never before (i'm 24) seen a console get this much hype before release, so I think the attention's pretty much there already. Combine Virtual console, Zelda Twilight compatibility, a new franchise, Mario and Smash Bros launch titles together, and this could be a master stroke for nintendo.
