Posted September 4, 2016 Just wait until you're in your Thirties, it gets better... --------------------------------------------------- I'm interested in someone, I have been for probably a month or so now and I have a feeling they may be interested in me too but because it's at work... I don't know. I know that people meet others through work all the time so it shouldn't be a big deal, there just never seems to be the right time to say something like... "Are you up to anything on your day off?" or whatever. *sigh* I really despair at myself sometimes because I know I've been here before, posting the same thing the last... few times this happened but it just feels like this time could be different... maybe. Honestly though, I'm probably too clueless to really notice if someone is actually interested in me at all, I'm so bad at these things or at least I think I am. TL;DR - I'm too socially awkward to ask someone at work if they want to socialise (awkwardly) with me in the vague hope that we might just get on well enough and who knows... :p I so wanted to delete this and not post it at all but there we are. Posted September 4, 2016 there just never seems to be the right time to say something like... "Are you up to anything on your day off?" or whatever. In my experience there is never "the right time" to say something like that. If you keep thinking about it and want to wait for the perfect time...it will never come. So here's my (incredibly awesome) advice: Do it. I know, it's easier said than done but what do you have to lose? Even if it doesn't work out, as adults it shouldn't become awkward. Posted September 4, 2016 I am no longer single. About 4 weeks ago I went to a friends engagement party and caught up with a friend I hadn't seen in a while. We spent the night chatting, she spilt her drink down me... A date, a few group outings and a couple of drunken walks home from the pub later, I've managed not to scare her off. Anyone remember this? Posted September 6, 2016 Things are getting a bit more serious with my situation, spending a lot more time together However, she expressed an interest in playing Portal since it had been recommended to her, so I dug out the PS3 and put it on for her. Sometimes I'll play a FPS and it'll feel right with forward being look down, and other times my mind will click with it being look up.
