Me - "I'm booked to go to London for my 25th in July on the 15th-17th" Boss - "Sorry, no holidays for July. Need all staff in, so all holidays cancelled" Me - "Hmm, i payed for it before i was offered this job, HR and recruitment confirmed i can go" Boss - "We shall see, but no chance of going" Later that day Boss - "Is the holiday refundable?" Me - "No it isn't unfortunetly" Boss - "How much have you spent" Me - "£175" Boss - "Ok, you can go on holiday. I'll authorise it now" So it worked for me. I'll certainly see what can be done to attend. When I say can be done, I already have the day off work. I just need to repeatedly place one foot on the ground infront of the other and make the journey. Jimbob has to promise not to choke me this time though. My neck is so brittle.
