RIght I thought this happened more recently. BUT some big non-gaming news story happened and when you googled it N-Europe was like the 3rd link on the front page. Cannot for the life of me remember what the story was but I clearly remember someone signing up to say hi and just talk about that news...maybe it was this day?!

I remember that too actually, but I think it was more recently than that. Can't be sure though.

 

As for the epic thread... I have it saved on my other computer but I can't get onto it now. I'll check when I get a chance, but I don't think it would have been that as none of the mods or admins were online (which was why it happened) so I don't see why 800-odd others would have been. Still, I'm glad we're all thinking

The only major events I can remember N-Europe having a massive audience for were the reveal of the new Doctor Who (Matt Smith), and also Derren Brown doing his lottery stunt.

 

That went massive on this site, but doesn't tie in with the date.
