Free to play? Might have a look. Hitting up DS9 next (10 eps of s07 to go), would like to finish it before I'd play any sort of game like this.

The only Star Trek games i enjoyed playing were ST Armada and Armada 2.

Amazing games. Everything since then has just 'failed' imo.

Both Elite Force games were pretty nice too.

Free to play, 3D and Star Trek sounds good. I'll definitely try it out.

I've only played Beyond the Nexus on the old-school GameBoy. Was hardcore! Don't think I got past the 3rd level. I was only 8 :(

Bridge Commander was easily the best Trek game ive ever played, I still go on it now. It was an awesome modding scene as well, so many improvements and ships added. The 2 Stargate packs were very impressive as well.

Its not because its a popular game, as far as I know it never did that well. Its just rare and known by Trekkie PC gamers as one of the better games.

This was clearly the product of a shroom trip.

"Have you ever thought about infinite space?"

"..."

"It just keeps going...and going...and going..."

If its anything like every other Star Trek game, it should be avoided like a cactus shafting.

With Star Trek as back story, this game provides players with vessels from authentic Star Trek spaceships and Starfleet.

That is very informative, and will make me reconsider my purchases.

There's always Star Trek Online F2P. It's not overly exciting but the space battles are quite fun for some time and you can fly most ships from the TV shows/movies without having to pay anything.

Fans waiting for the release of Star Trek: Infinite Space will have to find another game, as the free-to-play Trek game has been officially cancelled.
