After 3 years, I have finally passed my Level 3 Personal Training course! That's it! No more studying, no more tests...nothing! So, so happy!

Beasted it!  So for all the unwavering support we've given, when can we expect our tailored training plans to arrive in our inboxes?

Just found out that all of My Wife and Kids is on Netflix. For years I've tried finding a download/DVDs of that show. Finally I can ruin my childhood memory of it!

I feel like it's one of those shows that probably got really rubbish towards the end but I recall watching it.

Similarly I've been watching Sabrina although I've skipped over most of the last season as it's terrible. But that nostalgia man.

You can get the DVDs. I have Season 1 but it's a different region. I'm sure you'll be able to get the others.

Thank you! Glad it's all done! It would take me years to do a plan for ALL of you so you can all fight for them Hunger Games-style! :D

I love the Bleep test! I'm actually pretty decent at it...or was pretty decent at it. I haven't tried it in two years!

I've also been watching this on Amazon Prime! Just trying to relive a bit of my childhood.

Went on holiday recently (miss me?) for the first time in two years and it was nice to get away and relax.

Less nice coming back and having Covid but we don't talk about Bruno Covid. But I'm over that now too!

Gran Canaria. Went with a friend and a few of his friends and it was nice enough. Bit too "Britain on the sea" for me to go back to often but it was a good sunshine break.

Went to my first concert since 2018 yesterday.

While I had the concert in mind for quite some time, the actual decision to go was made.. past last minute. Sometimes Often I end up not doing something more or less planned because I hesitate too much, this was almost one of those cases. I got up late that day, still went to exercise like I planned, but this resulted in a situation where I'd really had to hurry if I also wanted to make it to that concert. Got home, had a quick bite too eat, took a shower as fast as I could (that's 25 minutes).. Then got on the internet to check all the details and arrange stuff (like getting the train ticket). I called the venue for some details (I was already late anyway, but there were some unknows, like when the main program was going to start), but I couldn't get through. Often this is where I just give up and go do something else, but this time I thought "fuck it", printed the train ticket, brushed my teeth, and left (and cycled hard to get to the most convenient train station within 30 minutes), and went "op de bonnefooi".

To go "op de bonnefooi" is a Dutch expression, which seems to have its origin in French, but I don't know of an English equivalent. it means something like going somewhere without a concrete plan, and hoping for good luck.

Like I said there were some unknowns, mainly what time the main act was going to start. I could perhaps make that, though I definitely was going to miss the support act at that point. Theoretically it could also sell out, but I thought that was very unlikely.

Anyway, long story short, it worked out. While I did get in late, the main act actually just started, but I didn't miss much. Better yet.. Someone left an unused ticket at the counter, so I actually got in free. I spend the money I saved on merch. Too bad there was no signing.

Spoiler

It's actually not the music I typically listen to, but I wanted something different.

This morning ticked off a long distance swim off from my swim targets list. Probably not gonna get much longer distances than this ..though there is another beach further down coast from where I started so could go from there maybe :p

Was with a group and we had someone on a canoe and another on a surf board following us for safety :)
