- I'm star of the month this month (because my calls are so good, I've had lots of difficult callers and remained calm and talked them down, taken a high volume, whilst still doing project work/etc).

- We get paid next week.

- Its the first month with my new higher pay

- I think its the quarterly bonus to.

Negative - I'm £1,000 overdrawn.

Positive - I might not need to cancel my Wii U order now. If I decide to be wreckless.

Going back to work tomorrow :) Two weeks of theory and exams and after that I'll have the foundation to work as an Air Traffic Controller and will start the so called "On The Job Training" :bouncy:

I'll also get paid a lot more. A lot more.

But...

I have now taught 4 Japanese to pronounce 'L' successfully. It's just a shame I didn't charge three of them.

Oh they can pronounce most of the sounds in English pretty easily, but it's always 'L' that there's a problem. They don't have any sounds that requires their tongue to touch the top of their mouth, so when you tell them they get it pretty quickly.

The funny thing is, they get in the habit of practicing too much and end up screwing up their 'R's, so I've had to introduce the game of Red Lorry Yellow Lorry.

So either you'll make money or the world is screwed.

Pretty much. If he loses, the last thing i'll be worried about is my lost £10.

To be honest though, the odds i got point to a very definite Obama win...

I'm convinced that it must be a media thing that it's "very close" - it would be dull to report "Obama is winning by miles".

Part of me is hoping that Mitt Romney wins.

Just to see what happens, you know?

People will actually start believing in the 2012 end of the world thing.

Was it a bet with a friend or at the bookies? If the latter, what were the odds?

Bet fair had Obama at 1/4, and Romney at 7/2 i think.

If i win, i'm not going to let it go to my head. I think i'll buy a sandwich with my winnings.

Can you buy a sandwich with that much?

With £2.50 i can get a sandwich, a drink AND a packet of crisps at Tescos, but i don't want to waste it all.

Went to a short film event thing (@Hamishmash it was Bar Shorts) and it was good fun. Expected to just see a few short films but they had an Irish folk singer on at some point and he was really good. All in all a surprisingly enjoyable evening.

Over the weekend I went home for my mother's 50th. She enjoyed her present, which was good. And my nan made me rock cakes ^_^
