Won £320 at the casino last night, and for the first time in ages my mate I went with was up (a lot) too. So was double happy/. Amazing. Brings my trip streak up to 4 separate nights, minimum wins £100, and if you factor in going to different casinos, 7 trips without a loss, and total winnings of those trips just shy of £1,000.

And we got an (albeit small) bonus at work this quarter/month.

WIN.

Are there many times when you make a net loss? (Just curious)

Just got stopped by three policeman in town and accused of shoplifting. It was awesome!

I felt I was going to die today. (I feel this every day)

Since I was feeling mortal I decided to get something done so I was spurred into finishing my short story for a competition so I have that written all up now!

I can die tomorrow safely. :)

Is it posted up anywhere? I want to read! :) Good luck!

Yay, thanks!

It isn't yet as I'm not meant to put it up anywhere until the competition is over as part of the rules but I'm very pleased you are interested! :D I shall put it up once it is safe to. :)

Only one other person has read it and that is my dyslexia teacher/helper person to make sure it has paragraphs. She enjoyed it, so I'm slowly gaining fans. :heh:

In other new I woke up out of sorts but that soon disappeared when I had Chicken katsu curry for lunch!

In terms of University work I am on track, I wanted to be ahead but I was ill this week so fell a bit behind. Got my method written up for my dissertation and hopefully will get some more advice on my results and tips on the discussion next week. I have an essay due in two weeks time an a poster thingy that is looming over my head but I shall get done over Easter.

In fun news: I shall be watching Sherlock this evening (season 1 episode 3) as it is much better than I thought it was going to be. Previous judgement based on teenage fans. :p

Yeah, I have come down twice. Ish. Only large twice though (maybe £100 x 2) (both times being) £100 that (I could) afford (its all about budgeting).

(Just to offset my almost correct use of parenthibrackets in the previous post^^)

But not recently.

Usually (and I am absolutely guilty of this for the record) gamblers don't tell you about the losses. But yeah, I've just done insane recently. Its knowing your limits, its not getting greedy (unless you can afford it/get into a position that you can) and its having a strict plan of "Don't gamble blacks" (£25 chips) or whatever.

Thanks Retro! Like I said, would love to go with some other peeps some time.

The only bad/annoying thing is.....I'm taking Claire to the casino when we go to Brighton in two weeks. I don't want to go down. The last two times I've been I've got down to the £100 (£20 deposits) and then completely turned it around....I don't want to go down in front of Claire, as such I will be happy with like...£10 profit. Probably have a lower budget then too, but we'll see.

Ahhhh love it so much. Love Genting's £100 chips...beautiful hot pink and black.

I would love it if Rez is secretly some sort of mastermind blackjack savant. Is there some sort of rule that states you can't gamble if you're "clinically advantaged"?

Ine is here now and has been here for a week. Things are going well, I would say. It was nice having her parents here, they helped out with lots of stuff and got us started.

She's currently sat at her desk doing work. Yup, she's pretty much taken over the place. :heh:

Tomorrow I begin a new chapter in my life, as I start full time work! Exciting, but quite scary really, I'm not sure how I'll cope as I've been spending the last 8 months dossing about at home without any routine or commitments.

Likewise!

I'm up, showered and had breakfast all before 7am... Something's not right!

I second rez's sentiment.... though it is awesome having the novelty of full time monies until you realise you're spending it faster than you earn it ha ha

I'm currently in the process of looking for jobs to apply for heh. Can't say I'm looking forward to a full-time job though. Would much rather do freelance stuff from home, but I know I can't pay the bills that way boooh.

In good news though, today people came around the building and they started to clean the windows! I didn't know we would have window cleaners! I was already dreading having to do it myself, but now I don't have to anymore, yay! =D

Just got back from Prague, it was lovely, nice mixture of old run down and gorgeous new builds.

Went to the zoo and saw most of the sights in town, it's a very small place to visit, very cheap too ( except the tours! ).

Now I'm back at the house with a possibly new job in tow, looking for a new phone and looking at new places to rent.

Huzzah!
