Oh noes! It's on the same time as X-Factor!

Oh noes! They've been on at the same time for years!

Oh noes! They've changed the time of X-Factor!

Oh noes! They both suck!

common guys...serious thread

I don't really watch it, my mother does though so its on pretty much every Saturday and i'll glance in on it every now and again while i go from my room to the living room. I think i saw the last series where that guy that wasn't very good almost got voted through to the final just because he was not very good. But thats all i can remember i'm afraid.

This is the dance show where celebs partner up with a prof dancer and compete, right?

The Danish version premiered tonight as well. I was watching the Danish edition of X Got Talent instead.

I love Strictly, but Alesha isn't half the judge Arlene was.

Ice is the typical ITV copycat cash-in.

This! I can't believe they dumped her she was awesome.

Oh and I agree about Ice its basically exactly what I would expect from ITV when they try to tackle the BBC. A failure! lol

How can anyone find Strictly better than Dancing on Ice is beyond me.

- Danger

- Better/cool costumes

- Holly Willoughby/Peter Scofield

- Ice

- Etc

VS

- Crappy stupid things

- Tess Daly (the shows saving grays)

- And finally Alesha Dixon is a knob end, and so was Arlene Fillipz.

While dance shows can be nice to watch, I do indeed find the graceful movements and beautiful choreography of ice skating a lot more appealing. I'm with you on this one, ReZ.

was really disappointed that Hingis went last night. Two relatively decent couples in the dance off. Two useless useless couples saved by the public. >_>

Saw the vast majority of the Friday night show (missed the first dance and Lynda Bellinghams) but didn't see last nights at all. I wanted Hingis to do well cos a) she's a tennis player and b) she's one of the few "celebs" I actually knew. I thought she did fine on Friday night and even looked decent enough in the pink dress- definitely wouldn't have thought she was bottom two material, never mind being in danger of getting the boot. :wtf:

Anyway, one less person to get in Brendan's way...

...provided he doesn't kill Jo Wood or cause her to have a nervous breakdown a few weeks in.

I prefer Ice Dancing on Ice or whatever, just cause it's a more interesting thing to learn how to do. (and the fact that none of the contestants have any experience whatsoever)

That's cool.

I'm looking forward to the new Dancing on Ice........ so I can talk about Strictly in the thread.

You can't argue for ITV, just by attempting to you're immediately wrong.

This!

Ice just feels cheap and tacky to me. Strictly has class and is so well done. Horses for courses and all that though.

Obviously; better things to do with your lives, like post on a forum in a thread about said TV program...
