bluey Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 yo-hi!! i'm after a digital SLR. reasonable performance, any condition, any age, any size, any make, regular batteries or rechargeable... in exchange for moneys/moneys AND my new-ish hardly used fuji finepix J12 digital compact. (or COURSE it's blue...) it's a great camera - but doesnt do macro as well as i'd like (i like taking unreasonably close-up images of teenie-weenie things.) anyone interested...? help a brotha out!! (^__^)
Ashley Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 (i like taking unreasonably close-up images of teenie-weenie things.) Poor Jamba Yes. I am that unhelpful :p How much were you thinking of spending. I know you can get the Sony Alpha 200 in the £250ish range at present and whack on a new lens.
bluey Posted May 22, 2009 Author Posted May 22, 2009 (edited) good to know, ashley i'm just looking for the cheapest possible option really... just a thought. not too bothered about the specs or add-ons. i definitely wouldnt need a tripod for it though - I HAVE JAMBA! zing! bluey Posted May 23, 2009 Author Posted May 23, 2009 i think you misunderstand my joke. i am in no way suggesting that jamba has short legs. but enough about jamba's cock for god's sake! i've gotta work and concentrate on stuff @__@ *furiously fans self*
Pantsu Man! Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 The Nikon D40/D40X are after reading up quite a bit about DSLRs, I'm sure they're considered to be the best cheap, small DSLR you can carry around with you and get great pictures with aswell. Although if you really care about getting more lenses you're limited to the ones which have the auto focus motor in the lens itself. Just thought I'd throw this in here. My brother got one a few years ago for £200-£300 with a load of stuff on ebay.
