Posted May 16, 2009 (edited) Thanks to ebay my Wii game collection has grown in vast numbers in the past month. But I still remember before the end of the year I had barely 10 Wii games... Which got me thinking, how many Wii games do the people on this board actually own? I remember not being interested in many lesser known games but thanks to ebay and it's fake money system I can now enjoy them all! So how many games have you bought since you got your Wii? My collection (may miss a few as it's late): WiiSports The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz WiiPlay ExciteTrucks Mario Strikers Charged Soccer Rayman Raving Rabbids Super Mario Galaxy Sonic and the Secret Rings Fifa 2008 Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition Guitar Hero 3 No More Heroes Disaster: Day of Crisis Super Smash Bros. Brawl Dewy's Adventure Madworld de Blob So, 18 games, and I have not got the likes of Mario Kart, Metroid Prime 3, Wario Ware, Warioland...and many more, all of which I'll be getting soon. In contrast, I have about 27 Gamecube games...I thought I had more, but maybe I have some at home or stored somewhere. Really happy with my collection. The weakest links there are WiiPlay and Super Monkey Ball, as they get used less and are not as good as the other games on that list. Wii Sports (fantastic) Wii Play (ok bunch of mini games for a couple of quid more with a controller) Mario kart Wii (classic I love) Super Smash Bros Brawl (classic - v fun, tons of content) Super Mario Galaxy (AAA Classic) Excite Truck (full of win) Boom Blox (underated uber game) Mad World (very good all round video game) Castlevania Judgement (ok 3D fighter that will not be remembered, really fun at times - not as bad as some may say) PES 08 (must buy Wii title - unless you hate football/football games) PES 09 (improved follow up) House Of The Dead 2&3 (good fun but have not been into lately more interested in HOTD Overkill) House Of the Dead Overkill (v good game if short on actually game length) Ghost Squad (Very fun game, have not played in a while though) Star Wars - The Force Unleashed (very good all round video game) Dewys Adventure (seems decient for the little ive played it) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Not a bad collection to be honest there's still a few I'm after and heaps of games newly released on the horizen that have my attention. Only owing a Wii makes it much easier to dedicate all my gaming time and gaming funds towards it as opposed to just getting a few great games between 360/PS3 ones. I have a decent collection of 25+ VC games which are all on my US wii (RELEASE MAJORA'S MASK DAMMIT!) and 5 WiiWare games: Strong Bad 1, Lost Winds, World of Goo, Onslaught and Bit.Trip Beat. Sit all of this alongside my N64 and Gamecube and they just gather dust. I'm after a DS Lite next purely for pokemon and GTA. Currently own: Wii Sports (And still love it!) Boom Blox (Great for parties) Smash Bros. (can't play...Freeloader killed by firmware updates) We Ski (as above) Guitar Hero 3 (good for parties) Guitar Hero World Tour (As above and still gets played when good DLC comes along (infrequently)) Mario Kart Wii (THE standard party game) Wii Fit (gathering dust tbh) Wii Music (still love just jamming on this occasionally, it's so tactile in a similar way to Wii Sports) Also good for parties I need some new games that I can sink time into now I'm finishing uni. *Looks at two tennis games to decide...* Paltry list considering I've owned pretty much all 1st party titles at some point or another. Those are the games that I'll never sell on. No point in listing all of the other games I've owned and sold on because it's a rather long list, probably encroaching on or surpassing the 50 mark, but it ranges from the likes of Wii Play to Scarface and everything in between. Honestly don't play my Wii that much, not because I don't have anything to play. Look at my list. If I had the time or want I have a small but decent selection of stuff I'd love to play through again. It's just down to the fact that I've sorted of moved on in terms of what I normally do and gaming has taken a backseat. I'm hoping the likes of the Conduit and others will pull me back in. I think that's one of the benefits of being part of a gaming forum. You find out about games that you otherwise would probably have never heard of. It's simple really: If Hero-of-Time likes it, you know it's a good game. I've gone for games in the past due to his advice and will be going for more when I get some cash (Swords & Soldiers, Little Kings story & Order up!) I also think it's great to see most people on here owning games like de Blob and Boom Blox that had poor exposure and maybe didn't sell great but are truly awesome games that no-one who enjoys gaming should miss out on.
