Caris Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 (edited) Hello whoever is reading. I have a 20" Apple iMac for sale, The new silver one. Specs are as follows: 2.66Ghz Core 2 Duo 2GB Ram 320GB HDD 256MB ATI 2600Pro It's not even a year old, it has 1 or 2 small marks on but overall is in amazing condition. It comes with a 3 year extended warranty from John Lewis which covers accidental damage too. The mouse and keyboard are brand new and never been used, also it's boxed. It cost me Over £1000 when i got it new with the warranty so I'm looking for £700 which i think is fair. If anyone is seriously interested and want to make an offer or ask any questions go ahead. Cheers, Matthew. Edited May 3, 2009 by Caris
dazzybee Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 I'm interested. Can I get confirmed first refusal please. Need to check something first my end
Caris Posted May 3, 2009 Author Posted May 3, 2009 Yeah that's fine, when will you be able to let me know?
Nintendohnut Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 Am I right in thinking this is the model that was just before the new graphics card was released? So it's basically the new mac but with a lower graphics card? Just checking.
Caris Posted May 4, 2009 Author Posted May 4, 2009 If you mean the refresh that happend 2 month ago yeah, execpt this graphics card is much better. The new 9400m's are terrible. The new ones do have DDR3 ram mind but I would rather have the GPU for Snow Leopard.

I don't know much about these new graphics cards except that Apple said they could handle a lot more than the old ones. Why are the new ones terrible?
Caris Posted May 4, 2009 Author Posted May 4, 2009 Lol, Apple never said they culdn handle more in the iMacs. There just much slower than the previous one, google it if you don't belive me. "9400m vs 2600 pro" You interested in it at all or where you just asking?
dazzybee Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 Still interested, and I'll likely be making an offer, but just need to check some finances tomorrow (bank holiday today....)
Caris Posted May 4, 2009 Author Posted May 4, 2009 Ah right, ignore that PM then haha. Just for the record I'll say this now when you say offer i totally forgot about the P&P. So I'm not gonna take any less than £700 because of that and i would work something out with you about the P&P though. Let me know if your still interested.
Nintendohnut Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Well I might have been, but looks like Dazzy has taken you up Also I had a look on google and there are a few different views saying that the different chips are good for different things. Gaming wise 2600 pro seems better but for general UI the 9400M seems to come out on top. I suppose it depends what you would use it for in the end.
