Ooh! Looks like the Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai demo got uploaded early for some reason!

But in an absurd twist, it only has one single use! WTF!?

Crazier still, apparently the U.S. demo has 30 uses!! The hell!?

Well, you're never playing it then.

I know you, you couldn't bear to let a demo run out of uses!

That is so messed up. :heh:

Anyway, it's currently running on my 3DS (in Sleep Mode :hehe:). It gives you 2 tracks to play through (on 3 difficulty settings) and the option to choose between touch or button controls. No option to lower the volume of, or mute chimes though, which is annoying. icon13.gif

Liking this track on the demo:

Hope I'm allowed to put this here. WayForward is teasing Mighty Switch Force 3:

The font looks familiar... A Metroid-like prequel to MSF, perhaps? There's no guarantee it'll be on 3DS (or Wii U) but I'd be gutted if it wasn't!

If you haven't already downloaded the Project Mirai demo then it now works properly. Downloaded it yesterday myself and it had 30 uses. I was going to suggest people who had the one use version tried redownloading it, but apparently that doesn't work? Hopefully they manage to sort that too.

Went along to one of the Nintendo Summer of gaming events and came back with this little haul.

The badge I knew about beforehand, but the coins were a nice surprise. Unfortunately they are just normal chocolate farthings, it would have been amazing if they were minted with mario heads! I was particularly pleased to be able to get hold of the elusive Photos with Animal Crossing, especially since I managed to get a full set of three cards! :yay:

As each one has its own download code this does mean I have one spare code which I would like to see go to a good home... feel free to try and persuade me this should be yours. ;)

No worries. But yeah, looks very odd. :blank: The camera is waaaaaay too zoomed out.

I imagine multiplayer Switch Force could be pretty fun though, not to mention hectic. :hehe:

Yeah, it's a very strange idea. To me it looks like they've taken the original 3DS assets and zoomed out massively - basically having as many 400×240 3DS screens as they can fit in (presumably) 1920x1080.

I imagine multiplayer Switch Force could be pretty fun though, not to mention hectic. :hehe:

I wonder if the switching would be set to a metronome (like Incident 16)? Considering the amount of precision in MSF, it'd be crazy if every player could switch at any time!

Possibly. In the vid I saw it looks like only 1 player is in control of the switch. It would make for a hilarious party game if everyone could though.

So Amazon Japan is doing a promotion on Picross 3D 2 if you purchase the demo from them you get 500yen off the full version. But after purchasing it gives the option to automatically download it to your 3DS by logging in with your NNID and, yep, it works, it 's like the future, or something. Shame they never rolled out that feature to every region. Still waiting for that web based eShop, Nintendo.

Finally, a true portable version of what is quite possibly my favourite game of all time, in 3D! : peace:

Only a month later than planned, but yep definetly looking forward to replaying my 2nd favorite* Sonic game (this time in 3D)

*1st being Sonic 3 + Knuckles (i'm aware they came on 2 different cartridges, but combined for the full experience). Hopefully they bring this classic as well to the 3DS.

According to Natsume it looks like Nintendo has moved on from releasing Original Game Boy games on the VC.

[tweet]652146047691546624[/tweet]

So it seems this means any hopes for any further third-party games are gone as well, I'd still take this with a pinch of salt but it does seem to tie-in with the fact that we haven't had any VC releases on the 3DS for some time now. :(

I'm just glad that Sega is here to fill the retro void with their amazing 3D Sega Classics range! :)
