As you all know, I'm an army nut, and the main problem with the Zapper is that it lacks a stock. Of course, I also dislike the fact that the trigger is at the front of the thing.

Anyways, I wonder if anyone knows of a type of Zapper that has solved these flaws, or if anyone has solved it in another way.

My idea is that I could take a stock from a broken airsort gun, and quite simply attach it. Well, it's not really that quite simple. The question is HOW. I've seen someone attach it up side down to the bottom of the Nunchuk connector. Thing is, I'd preffer to make a genuine rifle grip.

This thread may go in a fair ammount of directions, hopefully it'll lead to me showing how to make a kick ass Wii-peripheral.

Why not just strip and airsoft gun and mount the Wiimote in the barrel?

I've thought of that, but the question is, how do I connect the airsoft guns trigger to the Wiimote's? And where do I put the nunchuk without limiting my access to the buttons?

There are a bilion ways to do this, but since Wii shooters rarelly have mappable buttons (sadly), I have huge limitations.

My idea is to, since I'm right handed, glue a plate of plastic or metal to the right side of the zapper, so I can get an old fashioned rifle grip, like on the Benelli Nova:

Another idea would be to adopt a bulpup style design:

In other words, I pretty much put the thing that holds the zapper in place, turn it into a stock, and somehow mount the actual nunchuk to the front. The questions are, how can I mount the nunchuk so it neither is in the way of the Wiimote camera, nor me getting an awkward grip on it. And of course, what do I do with the cord?

An idea would be to attach the nunchuk slightly diagonally, and lower. This is just hurting on my brain to solve.

Why Nintendo, oh why couldn't you have made the original Wii zapper with a real button for trigger, and a built in analogue stick, all run by a connector, rather than using springs, and lids for hiding the cord?

Crappy scetches made in paint will be up later...
