Make tha cool Revolution name!

Recommended Posts

I like the N5 because it's short and simple, it would stand out, be easy to make a decent logo for.

I was looking at an ad in the new NOM 2day and thought that the PSP has such a better logo than the DS, the main part is short and large, whereas the DS's is too long etc etc. The same applies for the GameCube logo when it has the writing underneath.

Provinding that the other revolutionary aspect is a visor they could call it "Nintendo Vision". On a serious note n5 seems the most likely out of all the names here. Short, easy to remember like the old consoles, NES, SNES, N64. Who honestly refers to their GameCube as GCN?

N5 is just bland. it says nothing about the system. all the other systems had a name that related. i think they should keep the name Revolution it is the most fitting. any way if it does go to N5 then this site will change again to http://www.n5-europe.com

N5 is the only professional sounding one I've heard, I like it. Can't come up with on myself though :)

Probably since that was the original name of the Revolution.

I wonder if N5 meant something, like 5 N words or refering to a feature of the console.

I think N5 refered to it being Nintendo's 5th major console

1. NES

2. SNES

3. Nintendo 64

4. GameCube

5. Rev

I have to say that i am happy with "Revolution"! Just thought id grab the definition of revolution... for those whom may have forgotten...

revolution

noun

1: a drastic and far-reaching change in ways of thinking and behaving; "the industrial revolution was also a cultural revolution"

2: the overthrow of a government by those who are governed

3: a single complete turn (axial or orbital); "the plane made three rotations before it crashed"; "the revolution of the earth about the sun takes one year"

in comments to:

1: yep. this sums up nintendo and its ideas in one go.

2: well, i have to say that if they can overthrow Microsoft, thatd be interesting.

3: This is a complete description of Ninty's idea to bring back the retro games

and besides. its sounds good! Viva le Revolution!

N-motion

That could be the name of the way you use the controller, like:

"The Revolutions controller is using N-motion to controll characters on-screen"

As for Revolutions name, I like it as it is. I´ve gotten too used to it now.

If you say it out loud, it also sounds like "in motion", so a nice little play on words too.
