Gotta love N-Europe's complete bias...

Goldeneye on Xbox Live Arcade, for its 10th Anniversary, with added online multiplayer mode.

Microsoft wanted it. Rare were making it. MGM endorsed it. THQ wanted to release it. Nintendo would have profited too, if they consented to the project. The deal would also have allowed for Goldeneye Online on the Wii's Virtual Console, as well as every other Rare game before the Rare takeover - Banjo and Perfect Dark included.

But what does Nintendo do? They refuse. Meaning we'll probably never see a re-release of Goldeneye for years now.

And trust N-Europe to completely avoid reporting on this debacle.

I love your complete bias too, Dilli Gee.

N-Europe did report on this, actually, but the news is two weeks old. I know you like to find 'evidence' for us being fanboys, but it only shows how much you are one yourself. You're in the same category as Choze as far as I'm concerned.

It's a complete disgrace, a nintendo site being biased towards nintendo.

Did I say that was the issue?

My problem is comments like "stay tuned to N-Europe for the latest on this web of rights, secrets, and LIES" yet not following up on it, which I assumed is so not to actually show Nintendo in the correct light.

Yea but we all know it was Nintendos doing and they wanted it to be original. We will follow up on it when there's more on it, but there hasn't been. And stop trying to argue against us, you didn't read the article or knew it existed and now your using text from the article to prove your point.

Just stop, really...

I'll stop bitching now.

It's not that I'm ungrateful for the amount of work and effort the writers/moderators put into the site and its forum, but N-Europe is becoming more-and-more just an extension of Nintendo's PR arm.

Always positive, with a smile on its face. Failing to address the fundamental flaws of the Wii, such as the uninspired online play, or the severe lack of quality, original titles.

Just my personal opinion. I knew posting this thread I would be immediately black-listed, so the fact I posted it anyway should hopefully mean something.

We will follow up on it when there's more on it, but there hasn't been.

Aside from leaked photos, leaked video and an official statement by Microsoft, as well as thousands of fans signing petitions for Nintendo to reconsider, nope. No new developments.

Do you listen to the podcasts? We're aware off the flaws and we talk and moan about it like the next guy. We're hardly that bias. For instance the podcasts that i've been in, a couple of times we've moaned at the lack of Hard Drive and Voice Chat and stress how much we want it. And as for lack of decent 3rd party titles, we're all aware of it and they're needs to be more quality ones, especially with the Wii flopping in Japan just now. It's in the podcasts we go a little bit more in depth with the current situations.

There's loads of petitions on the interweb, we don't post them all. Did the statement really say anything all the new that we just had to report? We know who the problem is. And it begins with N.

I highlighted the fact that it may be Nintendo's doing in my post. I'm also not going to follow up on a rumour with another rumour when it's effectively just another source with the same story, except focussing more on the fact that it's Nintendo's doing.

And why would we criticise Nintendo?

Ditto. Take some time to read our articles and listen to the podcasts before you want to rant about how we run this place.
