Posted January 6, 2008 So, the time has come for the next mafia game, and this time the theme is N-Europe forum members. Will the members be able to find and ban the baddies before they are banned themselves? Reminder: Once you sign-up, you have made a commitment. You have to be a frequent poster on this site, as you'll have to check on here to post on the thread and PM me every day. Do not sign up if you aren't going to play with commitment, cos you will ruin the game for everyone (especially if you have a pivotal role). Also, you must keep your role a secret, and not discuss the game with anyone else! **Disclaimer - Please don't be dissapointed if you do not appear as a character in this game. Posted January 6, 2008 Yeah please could everyone post actively this time? It's unfair that some people lie low and claim to forget about the game then come back when they're about to get lynched. I'll summaries the (simplified) rules. Everyone is given a role, and everyone must keep that role a secret. There is a mafia. The mafia can communicate with each other outside the game thread (via PM or MSN or whatever). The mafia have to hold the majority to win. The townies vastly outnumber the mafia, but they cannot communicate outside the game thread. They have to work out who the mafia are. There are two repeating phases in the game, the day and the night. During the day time you can post in the game thread, and must vote for someone to get lynched. During the night time, the mafia decide who to kill, and if anyone has any powers they use them then. It's quite easy to pick up really. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
