Not the last show I watched but wanted to mention...

Never Mind the Buzzcocks

Thank fuck Simon Anstell has left!! Now the show is actually watchable again!

Was a very funny episode with Rhod Gilbert as this weeks guest host, enjoyed it a lot, though Gabby Logan was annoying... it was quite obviously Poker Face!

I don't know why but I have an urge to punch that guy in the face whenever I see him appear on telly.

Freddy's Nightmares- It's a Miserable Life (Season 1, Episode 2)

The weirdest episode. I didn't know when he was dreaming and when he was awake, it got confusing. Still entertaining.

7/10

My point being that there's only been two episodes so far, so saying TEH MOST WEIRDEST EPISODE YET!!! is kinda... OTT, no?

Ellen - The Puppy Episode

Not sure why its called that but the big coming out double episode anywho so many jokes in the first half build upon the fact the audience know but Ellen doesn't. And the self-referential teaser in which she is preparing for a date and her friends are waiting and insisting she "come out!" and she shouts back "what's the rush? I've got an hour."

Never watched Ellen (the show) before and was suprised by how funny it was. Often 90's comedy dates but some good stuff in there, and the odd touch of sentiment. I liked the dream where she was in a supermarket and everyone just knew she was a lesbian. Oh and her accidental coming out was great.

Didn't know Jeremy Piven was in Ellen too, although in a quite minor role.

Dollhouse

Pretty much what Ashley said about it.

Stargate Universe - Air Part 3

Not exactly the best idea of a TV episode. Hopefully the next one is better.

Flash Forward - Episode 3

While interesting, especially things like

Some people had dreams instead of a Flash Forward - like Cho's wife.

It still really bugs me that everyone is acting normally in these flash forwards.

Gossip Girl - Rufus Getting Married

Scandal, sex (well...an intimate massage), drama, blackmail. All trashy, but all what I watch it for. Good music too, Phoenix, Matt and Kim and Sonic Youth, who were actually there themselves, not just a background song.

Desperate Housewives - umm newsest

Why did Susan apologise to Mike for being nutso lately. He's known her for 10 years (or whatever, considering the time jump). Anyone whose known her for 10 minutes should know she's nutso.

Also, when Orson told Bree she must love him otherwise she wouldn't have caused that accident why didn't she say "I did that because I hate you and want to see you in pain"?

How I Met Your Mother - The Sexless Inkeeper

Heh Dan :p

Nice to see Marshall and Lily do more. Wonder if the ending means anything. And of course, there's a wesbite; http://www.itwasthebestnightever.com/

Dexter - Blinded by the Light

Why doesn't Dexter use his old apartment more? He still has it afterall. The ending was amusing, kinda reminded me when Dexter faked an addiction to Rita to cover up his true going-ons. Wonder if he'll do similar this time or just try "it was really pissing me off" approach. Read a theory that the Trinity Killer is repeating the pattern of how his family died which is quite interesting. They suggested his father killed his sister (hence the first one is young female), then his mother killed herself (hence the older suicide female) and then he killed his father (hence the next victim will be male) plus there was that scene with the ashes. The forced suicide was pretty creepy, and quite sad when you think about it. The families are led to believe that the mother was upset with her life.

South Park- Dead Celebrities

South Park returns! :D

Overall, some parts were funny. Not the best episode but still a good one.

lol, brilliant. Thanks for that one. Wondered if they'd do that.

How I Met Your Mother - Best. Night. Ever.

Yeh, it was alright. The best bit was of course the Marshall Couples Date Montage which was cringe inducing but so funny. Ted rocking the professor look was kinda strange as it seemed a little out of character, even if he is a professor. Still, it's showing he's still trying to work out the whole 'new job/life' situation and so perhaps that should lead to some more interesting storylines in the coming weeks.

Gossip Girl - Rufus Gets Married

This was alright but I'm still thinking it's a little too Serena heavy at the moment. I'd have thought that they'd have given her a place and could move on the storyline around her, which they have done particularly in this episode with Scott now being outted, but she's still too prominent in the story and it's kinda getting annoying. Oh, and Sonic Youth playing the wedding reception. That was awesome as was the Georgina plot with what's-his-name doorman and Dorota. Hope we see how that one sorts itself out next week. :D

Dollhouse Season 2 Episode 3 'Bella Chose"

REALLY good episode. It's not the best series ever, as the good ideas it has are hard to translate into the format it has, but no, lots of great bits in this, very funny too (Victor :D ) and OMGRZ at the final bit.

Though every episode I wonder why they don't just put Echo out of commision, she always fucks up mid-mission. (in some way or the other)

Thumbs up

True Blood- The second episode (don't know what it's called)

Way better than the first episode. Again, love the acting and I love the cliffhanger at the end. I'm starting to like Bill more now as well.

But you've got Noel Fielding now to make it even worse.

I liked it too, but you can tell the "cliffhanger" at the end will be resolved pretty much the same way it did last episode. So much shagging in this show it's unreal. We might to start mentioning it in the porno thread

However last night I watched an episode of South Park where Ike was possessed by Michael Jackson, made amazing by some well timed "Hee hee Chamone" and some chap Billy Mays randomly coming in and shouting "Hi! BILLY MAYS HERE!" [As much loved by my MSN name]. I just finished watching it again. Episode 1308 apparently. Go get it now people.

It's weird seeing Ike has an actual baby voice that talks properly.

Here is a quality moment, go watch it all now. NOW.

Loved it! Was hilarious. The cop scenes made me laugh and Butters "Yes, I get what you are saying" cracked me up.

A minute into the 7th episode of Glee and I'm already lolling. Lane Lynch's character is just amazing.

"Look at me..even in the heat of battle..I'm so elegant. Regal. I am Ajax, mighty greek warrior."

*reading off register* "...gay kid, asian...other asian, aretha, shaft."

Master Chef: The Professionals

Thought those two guys who both went through earlier tonight would make it into the final three. Bit suprised the women did, but then any one of those three could have really, they all made mistakes.

Atm it's looking like the big guy with dark hairs gonna win, that's where my money would be, he's done some awesome stuff in all rounds and especially during tonights shows.

Absolutely love it: *** Michelin Stars!!

Nip/Tuck - 6.01

It was enjoyable in a completely nothing kinda way but it didn't really make a big deal about coming back. Just carried on as is. The pseudo-documentary thing was weird. Replacing Katee Sackhoff with Rose McGowan was odd, why not just make a different character? Although I do like both actors and the character does seem to have changed but I'm wondering if her storyline ever comes up on the "previously on?" what are they going to do. A blonde and a brunette are noticeable.

Matt is really...pathetic. He has one of the most pointless existences ever and mime? Really!? Although the whole "Matt has an idea, his dads disapprove, he goes through with it anyway and fails" cycle is a bit tired. Although I didn't expect him to hold up that coffee shop...the idiot.

Kimber :D Although I doubt she'll just be doing electrolysis for long.

And Mario Lopez is back. Urgh. He gives me the creeps.

The infomercial was amusingly cheesy. Although it was apparently on at 2am and said "call in the next thirty minutes"...nobody would be at the office surely!

Dollhouse- various

just caught up. Some of this show is awesome- the tech, the concepts behind it and the way they're building towards the 13th episode from season one are cool. Other bits are super fucking lame. Why are they still spending so much time on the engagements? They're almost universally unbearable and shit.

I did like Victor being used as a proxy for coma guy, too. That was very clever. And the Remedy bit was hilarious.

The balance is better though. Oh yeah, and weekleys sell better :p

30 Rock - Season Four - Season Four

(the episode name is also 'Season Four')

Tracey's quest to make friends with the common man was kinda amusing, and a song by Jenna is always fun. The self-referential treatment of Josh, although I hope he does come back. He's fun in a pathetic way.

The ending was odd but hopefully it was a dig at Leno taking over prime time. Presume it was anyway. I may use the line "I'm in the middle of a RAGING period ... of economic turmoil," at some point.

Kenneth: Sir, I have a problem with my timecard.

Jack: So, naturally, you came to me because this company's just the two of us.

And Jack has a signed photograph of Jesus. Awesome.

Benidorm- Episode 3

A little funny, not as funny as the others. Love Madge! I especially love this clip:

"Oi! You!"

"You talking to me?"

"Yes I'm talking to you Miss 'Butter wouldn't melt in me knickers'!"

LMAO! Classic!

Funsies! We have ourselves, effectively, the antichrist. I was hoping that when the winchesters convinced him they were FBI that we'd somehow get some nuts episodes to do with that... Shame he dissapeared so fast. The season's doing a good job of making the weekly scare-story a loose chain-link fence of combined sense, but the show is a little afraid to continue a storyline segment for more than one or two episodes at the moment. This will doubtlessly ensure a cracking second half of the season when we see the lines converge.

Similarly, there's not really all that much nodding or hat-tipping towards the previous seasons besides the proverbial tics of character that are still conveyed in jocular, in-joke kind of ways... but I guess we're hard pushed to find many living one-off (or otherwise) characters from previous years - admittedly, we've had that black hunter dude and that woman from the bar this season, as well as the obvious fact that I can't really remember many of the characters there has actually been, but still there's got to be an absurd number of people they've run into that have subsequently been awakened to the 'world' of the supernatural.

Anyway, that's a lot of ho-humming.

P.S. Loading up Fringe's first ep. Will join you cool kids soon enough, if it goes well.

Glee - Whatever the newest one is called

Was okay. This was my favourite exchange:

Quinn: The minorities are feeling like Mr Shuster is ignoring them.

*shot of Asian girl sat next to her*

Sue: A chink in the armour eh?

Considering Quinn wants to keep her pregnancy a secret she sure does go around talking about it a lot, even during a test!

BSG - The Plan

When I heard the premise I presumed it would stretch across the whole four seasons but it seems to linger around the first for ages, then a bit of the start of the second then it suddenly jumps ahead (apparently early season 2 is about 60 days after the attack, late season two is about 280) and thats it. So their plan...failed? Okay yes but...I dunno. It just seemed to be "we had this great plan!...it didn't work...we tried to make up for it...it didn't work. End.
