Posted January 23, 2008 Right ppl, i currently have a wii, ds and 360 and have started thinking about getting a ps3 coz im greedy like that. But does anyone think it is worth while having a ps3 and a 360 have alot of the same games. I did think about selling my 360 which that thought quickly left my mind coz there is alot of games that are out for the 360 that i love playing. Does anyone in here own all 3 consoles? I think i want one so i have a full range of games i can choose from but is there enough or will be enough out for the ps3 that ent out on 360 to warrent a purchase. Posted January 23, 2008 Get it if you want Little Big Planet, Metal Gear Solid, Echodrome and Home. I got it for those really. Any others PS only games are added bonuses. I'm glad I own all 3. If I don't want to listen to a Jet taking off right next to my ears I'll stick on the Playstation. If I want to play a game and get some achievements I'll turn on the 360. If I want to buy a game to waste some money I'll turn on my Wii. Get it if you have the money and will enjoy the games yet to come out. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Posted January 24, 2008 I find that offensive. I've not bashed the 360 at all recently. When I said a Jet taking off it was partly a joke and partly true. You havn't heard my 360 when it turns on. Well i defo want MGS 4 as i have loved the other installments on cube/ps2. I'll probably leave it for awhile after having some thinking bout it. I'm hardly off my 360 at the mo (well apart from when i'm in work) with so many games that i want to play on. Hopefully some better priced bundles will come out for the ps3 in future as well......... Posted January 24, 2008 My HDMI cable came finally. The menus look crisper, a lot nicer. Resistance looks nicer aswell. I had realised it before but ti stands out just now, Resistance is extremely linear. You have one way and one way only to go and progress. And I like it. When i was looking at ps3 stuff i couldn't seem to see one anywhere. Don't suppose anyone knows of any good deals for the ps3 incase i change my mind and get one sooner? I thought "SCART, Composite... no HD stuff?" So i asked the guy at the counter. Me: "Do you have any HDMI cables?" Old Man Behind Counter: "HT what?" Me: "H-D-M-I..." Old Man Behind Counter: "What? HT?" Me: "No, HDMI... You know for High definition signals." Old Man Behind Counter: "Whats High Definition?" My jaw dropped... Posted January 24, 2008 I run my 360 through the HD cool coloured cable things directly into the TV. The TV channel that its on is called "CMP" I always assumed that meant Composite...but you guys said thats not HD, (But it is HD that it shows in) whats up with that? Just randomness? Posted January 24, 2008 I have HDMI hooked up to TV , and i got this Nice Home cinema system . Anyway i can get PS3 sound to play through that.
