Posted November 6, 2005 I just reformatted my hard drive (finally!) and everything seems to have gone well. However when i move a window or scroll downwards in a window the image breaks and slowly changes the whole screen. It reminds me of a really poor computer with too much going on, however it was all fine before and i can see no reason why it would do this. Its very annoying, anyone got any ideas? Posted November 6, 2005 have you got all the drivers installed again?
Posted November 6, 2005 Sounds like your graphics drivers are indeed not installed, or incorrectly installed.

Posted November 6, 2005 It could also be to do with Solar flares or static build up. Always remember to wear an anti-static wrist strap when reinstalling Windows.
Posted November 6, 2005 Always remember to wear an anti-static wrist strap when reinstalling Windows. is it just me that doesn't get that?
Posted November 6, 2005 is it just me that doesn't get that? :awesome: It's probably just me. Years ago when I was just starting as a pc techie my boss would always moan that I was not wearing an ESD wrist strap even when doing something trivial like checking a ide cable, so it became a running joke about wearing them.
