Dyson
Had a fun night at ex coworkers house tonight watching some stand up, smoking some greenery and drinking cheap cider. I imagine this is what it feels like to be jayseven. I then came home to discover I'll be going to London tomorrow to play Split/Second and get a copy of the game for free when it comes out. Can't say no to that.

ReZourceman
Does not compute. Exactly, its a challenge. However they have (I think) the worlds last surviving Virginia Reel coaster, which (I've been on before when tiny) but will most certainly give me a kick, due to its rarity. nightwolf
Do you feel sexy? TWO THOUSAND AND NINETY THREE WORDS! I crumble into the sea. 2 hours later and only 200 words done?! Gay. Oh dear Jay! You'll get there, I'm assuming by now you might have finished it! Couple of days have been fun, been hanging out with the house mate and her boyfriend a lot, went to see iron man 2, set up my monitors, played lots of crappy games. I've been trying to do flash work with no success. Fail. There's no even that much to do, like a days work if that.
Mr-Paul
@Ash I kinda get a feeling I should get a new sig/av, but then I feeel I can't get rid of the awesomeness of Sarah Chalke. Makes me feel nostalgic in a way! All nighter for the election was awesome. Started off with about 20 of us, only 3 survived the night. Glad it's hung. Though I would've enjoyed going down to Westminster to celebrate/riot. Bloody exhausted now.

Paj!
Driving lesson postponed till tomorrow for whatever reason. Just been mooching around today. Watched an episode of Angel, read some Doom Patrol. Phoned Play.com about my order stuck in a time flux, they weren't vry helpful. She mentioned not being able to do anything at the moment but I'll get an e-mail. Great, thanks. Oh yeah, I got into all the universities I wanted to. Which is good. Yay. (Dundee, Aberdeen and Kingston) My parents/mum want me to do either of the scottish ones for the sake of ease and cost, but it's another year of what I've just done, and neither have the film course I want after that...whereas Kingston does, I'd be going into the correct year (2nd, I've just done 1st), and is right where all the oppurtunities are. Sure I'd like to be all cosy in Aberdeen, but let's not lie, I;d rather do a course I want (and they want me).

Paj!
Oh I know. I'm not even debating the fact in my head. It's just I was busy doing nothing instead of working hard for the money, so am reliant on my crazed uncle in the castle.

Cube
Something strange happened to me on the way home from work. Some random guy said he's noticed me walking to work and said that my coat was horrible. He then gave me a coat and walked off.

Cube
Hmm, very strange indeed. You should of chased after him and gave it back (you probably did this anyway). Well, he walked away after a short conversation after me saying "are you sure?" "I can't accept it" and "thanks" a load of times.
Ashley
Go to Kingston. Seriously. London is actually where everything happens. I agree with this. And also wanted to shoehorn this in; its where fun. are doing an instore singing in a few weeks (Kingston specifically). See, what more reason could you need :p Congrats on getting in everywhere Had one of those blah/fml days. Waking up to the torpocalypse/Cammagedonn didn't help. Then paying morning fare for train and nobody checked (always a pain). Morning lecture dull as usual. Emailed my supervisor asking wtf was happening with the report and she said "I'll try and sort it out before next Friday". Umm...thanks. I reminded her my future employment is on the line and I would prefer to work there than anywhere else (not that I have any other offers...). Afternoon lecture my friend didn't turn up but I suppose this prevented me from having to do the polite pub drink because I'd only be miserable and nobody likes being with someone miserable :p Petty wise my hair sucks just two weeks after a cut. Its fine for a day or two then it gets too thick to style but is now too short. I want long hair. I want this mighty boosh back, as ridiculous as it is. Plus I saw yesterday there was a pizza in 'my' freezer draw (unofficial, but all my stuff ends up in one) so I was going to come home and eat that because its easy to cook but it turns out its a bacon one which needed a home. Damn it! And more general issues such as looming (or should I say increasing) worries I'm going to have to take out a huge careers and personal development loan to cover the cost of my course and today was my last lecture. Which for most people means yay party but for me it means another dull summer with nobody around. I'll wake up tomorrow better. I just need to accept today as a write off and do something more positive tomorrow. More badness/shit, although this is kind of funny. Was eating dinner but put too much in my mouth (shut up ReZ :p) but it got stuck. It wouldn't go down and I couldn't cough it back up and it was really hot and it was just stuck in my mouth as I couldn't chew it. So I sat there choking and feeling sick and loosing breath until eventually I sorted it out. Very dramatic and has burnt the bridge of my mouth. I'm glad nobody was around to see that. I want those tiny converses! Edited May 7, 2010 by Ashley
Eenuh
Today has been such a bore. Nothing going on at all, no one talking to me either. Well except for a friend for five minutes to ask for my paper from last year so she can steal stuff from it, yay. Probably should've gone to the doctor with my wrist, but when I woke up I thought it was doing a bit better. Turns out I was wrong. So maybe doctor on Monday if it's not better by then. Got squash tomorrow, hope that won't make it worse. Also, I'm broke, but tomorrow I have to go look for a Mother's Day gift. And it's my sister's birthday this month too. Wish they would leave my wallet alone. =(
Raining_again
guuuuh i feel horrible.. so sick and crampy and blergh. like a lead balloon. I can see why a lot of colieacs end up with anorexia... it just makes eating a pain.. Hope i'm just feeling this way because im so new to this... I JUST WANT NORMAL BREAD FOR FUCKS SAKE. Its awkward cause i feel like i'm making a nuisance of myself with friends too, its pretty difficult going out to eat cause very few places in ballymena are gluten aware. Think about it!! Bread & flour is a substantial part of most eating experiences... subway, mcds, kfc, pizza, any kind of batter, pasta, cake, bread, a lot of sweet things, gravies/sauces. Sad han is sad... Raining_again
Go to the doctorrrrrr. Is it the same hand you use when you play squash? yeah i agree, and for the love of god dont play a sport with an injured hand... At the VERY least get a GOOD supportive strap for your hand because you could really damage it! Don't damage the moneymaker!!!!

Dyson
Today, I went to Disney Interactive studios in London and sat next to Iron Man, and opposite Mickey Mouse. I then played an unreleased game, spoke to the developers and was shown something secret I can't talk about for a few days. All in all it was AWESOME. Oh, and they're sending me a copy of the game when it comes out too. I could do this shit every day, now I know what it's like to be a games journalist! Dyson
And if anyone cares, I just wrote a blog about my visit to the studio which you can see here. Aside from that today was still rather good, went food shopping which I always enjoy and just had a nice day. No complaints from me. Tomorrow, however, my Dad goes in to hospital for a back operation. I'm not sure how I feel about it, hopefully it'll all go smoothly. But there's always that niggly feeling. gah.
