Yeah, the new 65nm hoohaa is crazy.

The new 8800GTS is just hear say, i'd prefer if they boosted their middle range 8600's and such.

Is it worth waiting? I think there's going to be a Tracey-Island-esque stampede over the next few weeks to grab all these new cards, but none of them look like long-term solutions to me (an oxymoron when it comes to PC gaming, I know).

Fuck it, I just ordered the 8800gt, should come on Thursday/Friday.

Tabula Rasa = Best online experience I have had in awhile.

Such a ray of sunshine, after playing WoW for just under 3 years, I needed a new MMORPG and this seems like it.

Just pre ordered Assassin's Creed and Unreal Tournament 3 from Shop-to. £42.99 for the 2 of them, seems like a good bargain to me!

Was going for Assassin's on the 360 but as far as i can tell the 2 versions are identical, yet the PC version is £15 cheaper! :D Will probably end up mapping the controls to the 360 controller though, can't see a keyboard + mouse being great for it

Just been reading about The Witcher, can't believe it passed me by unnoticed! It looks brilliant! Saw it in a shop a few days ago for £20, will have to try and remember where now

My 8800GTS is now for sale.

Link on the trade board.

I would have been interested but the performance boost over the x1950XTX isn't that massive. If it was a single slot card then i'd probably go for it, having a dual slot card at the moments is a pain in the arse! I want a Sound Card and DVB-S TV card, at the moment one has to go PCI-E but the choice of both is pretty crappy

What i really need (performance-wise) is a new CPU, i wish AMD would hurry up with the Phenoms!

Been playing Timeshift on PC, pretty fun game and looks pretty too. Certainly worth a "checkout" for any fans of shooters.

If Crysis turns out as good as Far Cry i'll be happy.

I should get round to playing Far Cry. I have it installed on my PC.

I want to try Crysis, but I don't want my PC to explode

AMD Athalon 64 3200+ 2GHz

1GB RAM

ATi Radeon X1300 Pro

Good news for people who wanted to try out the new Sam & Max episodic games, but were too cheap to buy one! Episode 4 of Sam & Max, "Abe Lincoln Must Die!", is now (legally) free to download!

Check it out!

Just started playing The Witcher, pretty decent but i´m kinda short in.

Was entering a brawling match and of the people in the "audience" said: "Your mother suck´s a dwarf´s cock!" Made my day

Should be getting my new PC in the next couple of weeks.

Bring on TF2, finally.

Is anyone getting hellgate, or is everyone putt off by bad reviews?

Right, the 8600M GT (With good drivers, unlike the stock ones), will it play bioshock fairly well? (Don't worry, I didn't buy this card for my desktop, it came with my laptop :) )

Depending on its ram, yes and no.

If its shared, don't even bother. Dedicated ram will run it just fine though ;)

256MB dedicated DDR2 Ram. It's not exactly brilliant, but I suppose for a laptop it's not all bad.

Mine's coming tomorrow.

Try PC specialist sites (dabs, ebuyer, overclockers), they're probably all on back order at the moment though; hot cakes doesn't begin to describe how quickly these cards are selling.

One thing, if you haven't already ordered, this is the card to go for. It has the highest shader clock speed of any of the overclocked cards, and I don't think (though I'm not an expert) that there's any way of overclocking it manually.

Im waiting to see what ATi release, and the release of the new 8800GTS before i buy a new graphics card (shouldn't be long). Competition is good for prices

I want some Phenom benchmarks too, i need to know whether im buying a new Processor (Phenom) or a new Processor and Motherboard (C2D 45nm)

Assassin's Creed has been delayed on PC :( UT3 too :(

First i thought there were 4 games i wanted this friday, now none (not gonna get Crysis til after xmas).

Not sure if i'll bother with assassins now i have to pay £35-£40 for it for 360 on Friday. Only preordered because it was £20

Speaking of Crysis, just finished the first two levels.

It basically gets my PC and rams its metaphorical cock in every port.

I'm now inside the Alien ship, in Crysis. The story up to that part has been amazing. It really is a fantastic game.

I bought Call Of Duty 4 last week, and got Gears Of War and Crysis this week.

It's hard trying to find time to play them all. In fact, I haven't even played Gears Of War yet, Lol.
