KKOB
iSquint is a cool one i find, drag and drop, easy to use and pretty fast. I think it's Mac only though, but it's what i use.
Mr_Odwin
If you really want absolute quality you should find the specs for ipod video and use megui. One click apps can be good, but ultimately doing it step by step with specialist tools leads to a better result.
Eddage
Awesome, cheers. EDIT: What's the best setting to convert, there's loads! I haven't played around with the settings, just left them as default and the conversions have been great! You probably could get them even better if you play around a bit though. Jasper
Awesome, cheers. EDIT: What's the best setting to convert, there's loads! It all depends on what iPod you're getting. A touch, or a normal one. Touch is a little larger.
Caris
Yeah i've got it fairley sorted out now. The only problem i have is that i'm trying to copy the first season of a series to my iPod and whenever i do it i allways just end up with a single subtitled episode from the bonus stuff. Ideas? Jackster
If anyone's wanting to convert straight from a DVD to MPEG-4 or H.264 (i.e. the formats the iPod/Touch and iPhone support), check out Handbrake, it's great on the Mac and they recently released a Windows version too. Shorty
I also use the first recommendation of Videora I just follow the wizard and set the quality to top and the audio to very high. You can queue plenty and leave it converting. Even puts it into your iTunes library for you but I prefer to do that myself tbh.
Slaggis
"Any Video Converter" works like a charm. It's completly free too. It will convert from basically anything to ipod compatible video. Also converts to avi and something else (I've forgotten what).

Mr_Odwin
Episodic dvds can be problematic for all-in-ones. Have you got the DVD ripped to your HDD? If not, use DVDFab HD Decrypter. http://www.dvdfab.com/free.htm
