i played Warhawk today and while i was playing it the awesomeness of the visual graphics of the PS3 are really... uhm well really Wii standards almost.. this game can be easily converted to the Wii with some slight adjustments and i wont be surprised if it is going to!

here is an image of it and see for your self.

Don't count on it, Sony wouldn't let one of their few exclusives leave the console.

And don't forget Sonys publishing it and I'm sure they own the studio, Incognito right?

M-N when games are online theres a switch between the the graphics for online, to avoid lag, like Halo 2 and others. They look like early beta shots, mate.

Mr X and others are right in saying it wont come to the Wii as Sony made it themselves right? Or at least a company that Sony owns.

Anyway as it has already been explained the graphics are very average for the PS3 due to it being online only. Mix that in with the fact the amount of players that can fight at the same time aswell as the option to fight on foot, ground vechicles or flights based and its understandable why it looks the way it does.

Visuall it probably could be done on the Wii in terms on the online though I dont think the Wii could handle it, especially when it has trouble with a game like Mario strikers which has minimal players involved.

Is that a Sega Saturn game?

It's a LameStation game, clearly. I mean, the tanks totally have low polygon geometry, the Game Boy Classic could produce more polygons then that lame excuse of a tank.

Infact, the PlayStation 3 has worse graphics than the Master System. And they are charging that sorry excuse for an antique console that has disguised itself as a "Next Gen" outing, £425.

It's ridiculous!

O Sony has some Awesome looking games!! but there not really exiting because they mostly remakes of already proven formulas. That doesn't necessary meen its bad but it gives you the feeling you have been there before.

This game is fun to play as long as your in the air in my opinion. but if you look past the high textures (because most games just have better textures) you will see that most models and environments have hardly a higher poly count as the 360.

But back to this game "War Hawk" the single player looks and plays nice but it isn't really exiting me. the multi player is better but the looks are a real step backwards. sure i would expect poorer graphics because of the online functions but this is even worse than i could inmagen. that is why i think this game can be converted to a Wii game with relative ease.

But Incognito who made it is, are owned by Sony.

So how is that possible? :blank:

Hmmm, plenty of exagerations in this topic.

Not wanting to play the devil's advocate, but mistaking these shots for a Saturn-, Playstation One- or N64-game makes me wonder if you ever saw games on those consoles. The Wii can do some great graphics (just loop at MP3:C for just one example), but it's a fact that Xbox360 and PS3-games have the graphical advantage in terms of raw power. Stylistically is a different matter altogether, ofcourse.

Anyway, I'm not going to buy this game, and it's definitely not the best-looking game for PS3, but I can't just let a game (or other consoles) get ridiculed by wild claims.

Remember, before you go bashing senselessly, take a look in this mirror.

Was it an old version of the game you played? Because there is no single-player in the final version.

It's also a game that was made to be purchased from the online store (but Sony are also shoving it on a disk for full price, as well as the budget-priced one in the online store).

i think i just fell in love (if you were a girl that is) i love people who dare stand up and play the devil's advocate. and yeah your right. and to cube i mean the single player online (so not the split screen mode)

God i love you all here it is great to see people discussing on a good and grown up level!!

Err I can't say it's Wii ish to be honest. I'll be getting both of the games but still Warhawk certainly isn't Wii like in looks. It might not be pure next gen in looks, but it looks better than

battalion-wars-2-20060914072925451.jpg

IGN also gave the graphics a 9

"Striking environments, with nuanced touches that show off incredible attention to detail. Keep an eye out for bodies in explosions"

So it certainly must look better in motion.

But then like everyone else says, it's down to fun and I'm sure they are all just fun to play anyway.
