Columnar
As most of you will know a new Sega Rally is coming out for 360 & PS3 real soon. I have just discovered that there is also a PSP version coming out which got me wondering why the hell Sega didn't go for a Wii version? The PSP game has been created seperately from the console versions so surely the PSP game could have been a port of a Wii build (I DON'T want a PSP port)? Getting it for my 360 anyway but just thought it would have been great for Wii to have a proper racing game (as would Burnout Wii - my hope for this is still strong:) ) Any thoughts? Mikey
Nah, we miss out on most of the cool games, and get shitty PS2 ports instead. I'm just glad I have a 360.
pedrocasilva
Because development didn't start today, neither 6 months ago so they decided that before knowing Wii would be what it is today, simple as that. If the decision was to be taken today... that would be a no brainer (just as Virtua Tennis would), but as is... there's not enough time left before release, maybe afterwards. Also there's few teams on Sega with real GCN/Wii experience (they are growing but still, it's Smilebit, Sonic Team and Amusement Vision) so those teams would have to learn how to deal with the hardware instead of doing a simple PSP port so we could also say lack of resources.
