Babooo Posted August 17, 2007 Posted August 17, 2007 Hey guys and gals. Was just wondering about the Itrip. I saw this: http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/4-/3433296/Griffin-iTrip-Pocket-For-iPod-Nano/Product.html and I'm thinking it looks great and sounds very cool. Would be nice to be able to play it on a hifi, or in the car etc. Are these things worth it though or not really?
Shorty Posted August 17, 2007 Posted August 17, 2007 They are good indeed. Now that they're legal they're even better. Just plug it in and tune your radio in to the frequency. Easy. Sound's as good as any radio station (but won't crackle in a car park or tunnel, obviously ) It's nice when you get a cool holder and clip it in your car Although... I do think they're over priced in store. Oo, £22, much cheaper than they are on the high street.
Strider Posted August 17, 2007 Posted August 17, 2007 I've thought about getting one of these since i saw them a year or so ago (Or something along the same line) I use those crappy tape things to get it on the car speakers, the sound is unreliable and only works in one of the speakers. These look good.
Babooo Posted August 17, 2007 Author Posted August 17, 2007 Think I might order one then! Cheers for the replies guys.
Charlie Posted August 18, 2007 Posted August 18, 2007 I got a cheap FM Radio Transmitter from eBay for a fiver including delivery. Works very well, perfect quality and it works with anything that has the standard headphone jack.
Gentleben Posted August 18, 2007 Posted August 18, 2007 They are a nice idea, but sadly they seem to get a lot of static/crackle when you pass by other traffic, so no fun on the motorway.
