*smashes out of bed*

Why was I not informed last night...

*looks googly eyed at Jordan*

*fires up inferior 0.5Mb ADSL*

EDIT - You can tell my heads been in the clouds; I just restarted Steam it seems there has been a major platform revamp. Its looking very very swish, and the interface is a million miles better then before.

88% on Lost Cost. :D

I'm seeing 30-40.

Here are few screenies I just made. Whilst it was short, it shows the dedication Valve have; this took alot of work and alot of manpower just to make this short clip. Alot of resources where needed just for them to publish this when they could have spent time on future projects. So although it is short, it is very impressive - and I canne wait to see HDR used more.

Its short but sweet.

btw, the graphical requirements are for everything on high. I have a 1.8GHz processor, 512MB ram and a redeon X700 pci express 128MB. Runs fine with everythng on medium (exept reflections and HDR which are on high).

Heres some screenies of what its like on my laptop (click to enlarge to 1280 by 800):

any super hi rez, completely over the top high detail settings screenies?

I did that ¬_¬

1280x1024, every setting including AA and AF and maximum HDR maxed out (6x AA, 16x AF).

And only compressed at JPEG with 3 compression (1 being the best, 100 being worst).

Well that was good fun while it lasted, and like Jordan said, it's a Graphical orgasm. Looked better than some 360 titles I've seen footage of. :heh:

Not from my comp, the game was played at a constant 60fps.

If you mofos want even more detail I'll crack open the 21" CRT and render you some screens as high it can go :P
