CPU Benchmark Competition (Windows Users)

Recommended Posts

cpu2.png

I felt insecure about my score so I overclocked to get a decent lead.

VVV. See, I knew it was a good idea.

Well, that just makes all the rest of the results look really piddly. :blank:

I have cheapish PC4200 RAM so I'll not push my cpu any further. That, and it's on stock cooling.

I guess I'll have to be happy with just the 33% boost.

mines not overclocked..not sure if I really want to because a) not really sure how much to do it and how excactly to do it in the bios and b) I don't want to buy a new fan or whatever for my setup.

Dude. You're kidding right?

My server, is a 1ghz Pentium 3. Thats madness, it must be so damn slow.

It's actually works pretty fast. But I only use it for browsing the internet, and torrents. Soo I guess you don't need to fast of a computer for those things.

I've got the same as Jordan. Not sure why my second test is just slightly lower than his. Hmmm.

I said before that I was going to bump this up when I got my Quad, and take the top position...............but seems this benchmarking software doesn't support 4 cores, as my highest score was around 7800, and that was when my chip was overclocked to 2.8GHz. Disappointed. :blank:

Pretty late bumping, but i've been dying to know how well mine would perform.

Core2 Duo E6750 (not oc'd)

cpumarkscoredec07bk7.jpg

7731.1

I believe this puts me in 3rd place?

My Intel Core 2 Duo T7300 @ 2x 2.00 GHz gives 7534.6. That's pretty great

EDIT: Closed Firefox and some other apps and managed to get 7568.9. My laptop owns!

AMD isn't doing very well in this. :heh:

Overall no, but amd's seem to be better than intel on the floating point test.

My new comp got 900.4/933.7/4201.7

Final score = 4468.5

Not bad for a £40 CPU (AMD X2 BE-2300). Shall be upgrading after Christmas, either a Phenom (if they come down to reasonable prices) or a Q6600 (having to buy a new mobo is putting me off. Gonna try pushing this chip to 3GHz first, just because i can!

Seems like an odd app, the final scores don't really represent real world performance at all.

On my (inexplicably and ever-so-slightly) overclocked 6750

cpumark.jpg

I swear I've never touched it, I don't even know how to OC CPUs.

On my laptop:

5690.8

I'd say thats pretty good for a £400 laptop with Prevx and Rocket Dock going at the same time.

Little fluctuations around the rated speed are common - I wouldn't say that your processor has been overclocked at all. :)

Move over fellas, there's a new #2 in town:

cpumarkscoreoc286dc7.jpg

11157.4

This is an E6750 OC'd to 2.86ghz.

What is strange however, is that when i bumped it up to 2.9, i got the same result.

And when i bump it up to 3.. well i can't access the net ^o)

EDIT:

AT 3.01ghz i got my score to 11206.2 BUT there was no internet, it was bloody unstable, but i was able to run a couple of tests and get this done:

cpumarkscoreoc300lw3.jpg

11206.2

I'd like (obviously) the 2nd score to be the one on the leaderboard.
