Portlett Posted June 6, 2007 Share Posted June 6, 2007 Ive got an MSI RG54G3 wireless router and have tiscali adsl broadband, but i cant seem to get the internet to work through the router, all the ethernet cables are set up properly but it still doesnt work. Shorty Posted June 6, 2007 Share Posted June 6, 2007 Connect the router to the computer first by ethernet cable. Put the url in your browser of the router, usually http://192.168.0.1 and log in. Username and pass is usually "admin" and "password". If this address or login are wrong, the right details should be in the documents. Then in your router settings page, tell your router how to connect to your ISP (the username and password for tiscali, etc). Now install your wireless adapter (usb adapter, wireless card or whatever) if it's not already installed, unplug your router from the PC and hook it up to the phone line (preferably not the original socket, and use at microfilter).
