Slaggis
They've just obtained the rights to the movies, to use for toys etc. Do you think we could see a Lego indiana Jones game for next year? That would be awesome!!
Helmsly
Indeed that would be awesome, They made some batman lego too, wonder if they will make any games with that?
Mr. Bananagrabber
Christ, I thought this was gonna be a thread about confirmation of the game. I was all ready for a wank, Indie is cooler than Star Wars.
Cube
Will this just be a rebranding of the Adventurer's LEGO, then? edit: Indeed that would be awesome, They made some batman lego too, wonder if they will make any games with that? A Batman LEGO game has been confirmed, IIRC. It'll be on most consoles, inlcuding Wii.
theguyfromspark
Lego batman was announced a while ago so that will probably be the next lego game (after the star wars complete saga)

McMad
There should be a Lego Harry Potter/Spiderman any moment now...
Tellyn
They'll leave Harry Potter till after the seventh movie is released so it doesn't detract from the movie game sales. Spider-Man... now there's an idea.
Cube
There should be a Lego Harry Potter/Spiderman any moment now... Harry Potter - I think there already is one. Spider-Man - Won't happen. Mega Blocks own the Spider-man license. Jurassic Park lego would have been cool...though theres a new Jurassic Park coming out next year i believe...so it could still happen. Check Adventurers lego - It's The Mummy, Indiana Jones and Jurassic Park (Plus a few more) all bundled into one kind of LEGO.
blender
it would be interesting if they could make the mii characters into lego versions. Just by making things a bit more square I guess

Speedfreak
I don't understand the fascination with these Lego games. They're just ordinary videogames with stupid Lego gimmicks like YOU CAN SWITCH HEADS or THEY FALL APART WHEN THEY DIE. The games themselves don't seem anything special, either. Exactly, thus the genius and the joy behind the games. Plus the characters say things in silly ways and there are continual in-jokes about how they're risking death, yet they're made out of plastic and technically immortal... Basically, it makes you feel like a kid again, while still allowing you to feel somewhat grown up. And I pray that a Lego: Harry Potter DOESN'T happen. It would ruin the Lego franchise. Well, Lego Star Wars was bought for me as a gift (I wouldnt have bought it) and I have to say I found it very enjoyable with plenty of unlockables, secrets and other bits and a good dollop of worthwhile gameplay...Add to that the great way the game manages to parody the film and it couldnt do no wrong imho. The 'stupid Lego gimmicks' were really just an additional extra to the game.
