Pancake
So i just bought a new (Trust) mic for my computer, it didn't come with an installation disk and so i just assumed that when i plugged it into my PC base something would come up on screen to prompt me to install. But nothing comes up and i don't know how to get my pc to recognize it. I don't know how to open it up to record and save something (the reason i bought it). Can anyone help? Guest Jordan
It doesn't work like that, all audio devices just plug in and work instantly, no install required. Just run windows sound recorder (somewhere in accessories on your start menu) and give it a test.
Charlie
Is it a USB microphone? If so you may need to install the software before you plug it in.
