Posted January 23, 2009 I said Oooh Girl! Shock me like an electric eel. Baby girl. Turn me on with your electric feel! ..................... That is all. Anyone else think of that? Part of the reason I like the song if im rather honest :p
Posted January 23, 2009 Anyone else think of that? Part of the reason I like the song if im rather honest :p YES!!! That was one of my first thoughts about it. How I love Elle...
Posted January 23, 2009 Haha Ashley I've had that exact same thought! I've been listening to Taylor Swift this evening I really like her.
Posted January 23, 2009 Egyptian Lover is such a sexual sounding song. Not because of the lyrics, but because of the orgasmic beat on it. I was listening to it, and without realising began rubbing this deoderant can. I love it. (I just realised I love the word rubbing) -- I was discussing utterly sexual music with Razz, and then I thought of this. My love for all things filthy makes it funkingly brilliant. I even like the song.
Posted January 23, 2009 Meh. Thats such a false idea of filthy though. So forced and...juvenile. Its like The Sun. That's not what I would call sexual, I'd call it lowest common denominator. "Hey, lets put some tits on this page" "TITS YES! Yeah that'll make it hot." Its not sexual its (mildly) pornographic. And in my head theres a distinction...personally. I still say Louis XIV is one of the most sexual bands I've come across recently. As evidence I provide you with video for Pledge of Allegiance. Warning, girl in her underthings Let's play a game when you hear me make a sound Just go quite a bit faster Pretend that I'm gagged and bound Oh how I love to hear that sound (Plus Eric Pryz is fucking awful :p)
Posted January 23, 2009 (Plus Eric Pryz is fucking awful :p) Fucking amen to that. : peace: In other news, I decided to buy up a load of CD's from Play in their 'uber' sale... picked up a shitload of Radiohead for £2 - £4 per cd (some playtrade some new) some classic Elbow for £2.99 per CD, a couple of Metallica albums, Best of Judas Priest / Motorhead and some Queens of the Stone age ^^ should keep me going for a while. Posted January 24, 2009 Fucking hell Matt & Kim are awesome. I want to be them. In fact I fancy both of them. They are totally the happiest people in the world. Oh yeah, and I'm seeing Sébastien Tellier tomorrow. I fucking love this song. The video is awesome. It's just wicked fun. Another thing my mum and I agree about actually. Thank God, I thought I was alone there for a second. It just makes me want to move, I can't describe it.
Posted January 24, 2009 Hell yeah!! People need to lighten up. It's like criticizing Shoot 'Em Up for not being deep. It's just meant to be enjoyable. I don't really see what's not to like tbh. It has a great hook and a good beat. Plus the video if full of hot sweaty people flexing. It makes me want to gyrate.

Posted January 24, 2009 But im a gender studies student (or at least the majority of my modules are). I have to take these things seriously :p Plus that song is goddamn awful, its feels like cats being mutilated on my ear drums. Although I'll give you this (as I believe they were released about the same time); I do like 'I Like The Way You Move'. Mostly because it resulted in grinding with two hot blondes during the summer it was released.

Any song that gets confused as a Thomas Bangalter collaboration has to be amazing by sheer virtue of that association. THOMAS BANGALTER people!! Posted January 24, 2009 Hearing it predominantly in clubs I presume they cut out the talking bit at the start...unless you just mean the slower ...thing. Meh whatever, grinding baby, grinding (with the girl who looks like Kristen Bell and the girl who I'll never quite get over). But yes, it is a crap song. I heard it once, when it first came out and thought "Meh", and then it went down hill with every listen after than. -- I'm loving Peaches - Operate at the moment. Hmm Peaches :/ My housemate loves her and she can be alright. I like Operate. But then she can...well she can just repeatedly shout "FUCK! SHIT! FUCK! SHIT!" which is just really poor songwriting (and kinda makes it sound like she's into some weird space docking like thing)

I've honestly not heard anything else by her, other than a track Avril supposedly ripped off for "I Don't Have To Try". I just love the beat on Operate, it's so damn sexy. Speaking of sexy, I'm making a playlist on iTunes filled with songs with utterly sexual beats/or just songs that just sound completely sexy. Any ideas? -- I love this! Totally silly Electro/Dance music. Some of their songs are pretty damn funny. Gameboy/Gamegirl
Posted January 24, 2009 Armand Star Funkin' Mix of Professional Widow by Tori Amos is BRILLIANT That is all. It bagged her a number 1 (which feels the funniest thing to happen in my life) but the original is far better - a completely different song which I can class only as harpsicard punk. I heard the original for the first time last night (Like I heard that remix for the first time), and it was rather...scary on first listen. I liked it...I think. Posted January 24, 2009 I heard the original for the first time last night (Like I heard that remix for the first time), and it was rather...scary on first listen. I liked it...I think. It's among her most aggresive songs, from the astoun ding album, Boys For Pele. Very..fiery (Pele is the fire goddess..) in sound and content. Fans of hers don't really see the Armnd mix as a real Tori song, as it has nothing to do with the song really, and it could be anyone singing over it. It is decent though. Just shouldn't be lumpoed together with anything else by her.
Posted January 24, 2009 Leona Lewis - I Will Be I still prefer it as an Avril song, if I'm honest. No clue why she didn't put it on the The Best Damn Thing. Still, she should just make another album. Most of what she's releasing now isn't really "single" material. Also. It has the guy from Gossip Girl in. Yum etc.
