Apple_NdiB
I bought a bundle of games with my Wii (the stand-alone consoles had all been pre-ordered) and there were a couple of games thrown in that I have no intention of playing. The games are Monster Truck 4x4 and Splinter Cell, I tried to exchange them in Toys R for another game and a controller but they weren't having it, how much would I get for these games in GAME or on Ebay(bare in mind they are still in the cellophane)? Cheers.
The Bard
You'd probably get about 20 each for the games. In fact, I'd probably give you 20 for splinter cell...
Dyson
Brand new, I'd say £15 cash from GAME for each one, or £20 store credit for each. On eBay, you'd possibly get £25 for each.
Tellyn
In cellophane they really should give you full payment...
Apple_NdiB
In cellophane they really should give you full payment... I know what you mean, but because I bought them as part of a bundle I didn't really pay the RRP for them in the first place. Anyway, cheers for the suggestions, looks like ebay's the way to go. moorek
If your feeling cheeaky you could try another store. I did it with a cellophane wrapped copy of warioware on the DS the other year at Woolworths. Just say it was a present and ask if you can swap it as you already have it. joshhill
Yep, taking it to another shop to exchange it would probably work (if there's anything else you want). I've found HMV to be petty lenient with such things.
Jav_NE
Gamestation should give you £20-25 for it if its wrapped. Though again, store credit gets you more than cash pay out.

I took a non sealed game back there before (I did actually buy it there though) and they didn't even want to look at the receipt! Didn't even write my details down or anything like that, was just quite happy to exchange it.
