Mate you won't get ghosting on 8ms. You might of had a bad panal or something but you will not get ghosting on a R7.

i was talking about the SAM-LE26R87BDX and i said it "can" coase ghosting i dint say it did. our experience says screens with 6ms or higher "can" coase ghosting but every penal developer uses an other way to measure this. since we dint test this particular screen on the 3 main consoles i cant say it doesn't or does. that is why i look at the stats. but most of the time stats don't say anything. testing it before you buy in case of a gamer is always wise to do and the shop owner has to let you to before you buy it.

good luck shopping ^.^

The Samsung R7 1 or 2 (only the body is deference between 1 and 2) is a very nice screen (19inch) but the bigger ones still has some gosting not mush but in some games with verry dark and verry bright places (like Lost Planet, PGR3 and Gears of War) you will see it. so it all depents on the price they offer you and what you want. it is a better than avaradge screen but not the best.

Well I'm now looking for a 32" LCD...Do you have any suggestions?

Hmmm

At this moment the following LCD TV's might fit your wishes. (1000,- to 1500,- Euro) unfortionaly nisute's LCD testers are out so i cant check but if i remember these were high in the rankings of lcd 1000 to 1500.

all are HD and have great refresh rates and can handle multi formats.

Hitachi L37V01

Philips 37PFL7562

Samsung LE37R86B

I eventually picked up a Samsung LE32R87BDX.

Bloody amazing TV, only downside is its "start up" time or if you turn a device off, it turns the TV off.

Any suggestions as to how to eliminate those? Oh and i have 1 dead white pixel in the very top left, is that removable?

Is it a dead or stuck pixel?

That was my thought. Dead pixels are normally black? (The one on my monitor at work is anyway.)

Wierd I know there's a stuck pixel, a green one on my tv. It appears when I play Pro Evo. It's brighter than the rest of the green pitch.

I tried that black screen test and it didn't show. Wierd.

(Having multiscreen with the tv having Opera on looks so wierd)

Yeah and you will like it a lot. good 37" Plasma screens are:

Panasonic TH-37PV7F +/- 900,- euro (good price and quality aspect) or Panasonic TH-37PV500 +/- 1900,- euro (mush more expensive but incredible screen)

Sony KE-P37M1 You might find a good offer on this one (its an older model) although the disighn is a bit like Playmobile

Thomson 37PB220S4 is an other model but i honest do not think its worth looking for

Is £350 a good price for a Samsung LE23R88BDX? (Yes I still haven't bought a TV yet :p)

Oh and just to check, the 88 is virtually identical to the 87 other than the power button, with the 88 being exclusive to the Dixons group?

Aaaand, is there any chance of that Samsung going down in price anytime soon? I really want to get it but I'm struggling for money still and don't wanna buy when I could have saved an extra 100 quid a month later!

I can't really find anything on the Panasonics, and that Sony seems pretty rubbish hardware and looks wise.

And I've just read abd stuff about the Thomson.

Do you know anything about the Panasonic Viera TH-37PX70?!

And what is an HDMI port anyway? :heh:

that's mainly because Sony stopped making plasmas, so their more recent models are all LCD

High Definition Multimedia Interface, or simply put HD video and HD audio in one tiny cable!
