I don't see why Link does not simply become Ganon's bitch. Then he can save himself from having to spend 35 hours killing stuff, solving puzzles etc.

It's not perfect. It can be perfect to some, but that's wrong. it's simple as that. Those people have nshaded their eyes and look away from the obvious thruth. Now let's not fight about it, but no, it's not true that some people can think it's perfect, because thinking that would be not self-critical. The first thing I learned at philosophie is if you're not self-critical you become obsessed with your own truth. Always be self-critical and see what can be improved, there's always something.

 

And yes Philosophy has to do with videogames, too.

Shows how much people respect others opinions here. Pathetic or not, a complaint is valid. If they liked the orchestra music rather than the final music, fine, its not pathetic, sound tracks immerse you.

 

Then again, this is nothing new, most of you guys couldnt agree with a review that scored 8.8 for this game, because you had your hearts set on this title bringing you a bragging right for gaining the number 1 game of all time rank. It was the reviewers opinion, and its the reviewers job to state his opinion.

Link stopping in the middle of a battle or whatever to marvel at a 5 rupee piece..

 

Your wallet beeing full.. the rupee goes back in the chest and the chest is still on the map in the dungeon

 

When trying to center the camera behind link and some "foe" is near and he will target them instead.. grrrrrrr

I'm not saying it's perfect, i'm just saying it can be a perfect game to some as they don't mind about the flaws. A game will always have flaws so to say, but it's each individual that determines their own flaws. For instance, i think Smash Bros Melee was perfect to me, it may not be a perfect game but for what i was looking for, it did nothing wrong and fufilled all my expectations.

You know, i never really had trouble with that Rupee-pickup thing. Okay, it's annoying, but it never disturbed me through battle. And certainly not the chest thing. i'm happy about the chest thing and putting it back. It will save me a lot of rupees may I need change for a hundred or so. I found a silver rupee in 'BEEP' (now that's a spoiler tag) and it didn't fit. In Ocarina otf Time it would fill up your wallet to the top. but if you have 599 out of 600 rupees and you only get one through that, it sort of annoyed me.

 

I had some trouble with that focusing too. Mostly in the seventh dungeon (The one with Oocco, to hint you wich one) where you had to hang from these things you needed to clawshot to. Verry annoying if he focusses on the other thing while you're trying to center the camera to see if you fit through the hole. Just a tenth of a second later it's you falling. Falling. And still falling. And back at the beginning of the fucking room. Goddamnit.

Whille I've only just reached the Desert part of game. Then my only really big gripe is the on horse sections. I suck at Z-targeting while trying to control where your riding/shooting your arrow/gale thingie all at the same time.

 

Other than that I'm enjoying it.

 

 

Oh and is it just me or does midna remind anyone of Azel from the panzer dragon saga on Sega saturn?

This game is fantstic. I don't evan know why this thread exists. It is my most cherished gaming experience I have, and is by far the greatest game I have ever played. The exelent blend of straining puzzles, larger than life boss fights, and intracate storyline with just a tad of comic mischief make had me hooked.

It is easily one of the greatest games ever created.

 

It had the perfect lleangth and did not demand too much of your life either. wich is nice.

I think it has more character, it's also good that it changes when you're near enemies, which couldn't be done with orchestrated music.
