Today's purchase:

Brand New Eyes by Paramore - £9.99 from HMV

Literally ran into HMV to buy it, both so I could get it away and listen to it and so that I could make my morning lecture.

Outstanding Trek film. And what a great first movie to watch on Bluray! Shame about the cover-art.

Hardly! That's so much more stunning than just having the movie poster. Actually a good DVD cover. Really unspoilerific, just a face and the title screaming at you.

A gold/blue box with the Enterprise emblem and "STAR TREK" would have been much better.

Ah I have that one sitting around here heh. Can't say I ever used it much, but it's a good book for the animation basics. =)

Ah, good good. I'm awful at animation and hopefully it will help. Do you do much animation, able to recommend any other books?

It's a book that explains the basics pretty well I think, so it should certainly help. =)

I don't really do animation anymore, but I did follow it as my course a few years ago (but stopped after two and a half years). So I learned most of it there. Another book I have is this one: http://www.amazon.com/Acting-Animators-Revised-Performance-Animation/dp/032500580X

But again I didn't really use it heh. =P
