Posted June 27, 2010 (edited) I was hoping to come in here and be able to say I purchased all of Ultimates 1 (1-13) for £2 off eBay, but some cunt swept it out with 2 seconds left. I'm so angry. I'm going to piss myself. EDIT: Not a total loss; £3.74 in total. Technically a good deal. But not compared to the one that got away. Posted June 29, 2010 @ People buying GAME stuff, The majority of the time, instead of using the actual box a game comes in in store, we reuse what are known as dummy boxes with supplied inserts for the games. This means that the boxes are frequently used for a variety of games, and therefore a variety of prices and stickers. Sticker residue can be left on the boxes (some of them are a real pain to get off) and I imagine they use dummy boxes from stores to place your games in. If the DS cart has no data on and the manual is in good condition, there is no need to worry, as it was previously a gutted game sent from a store and put in a dummy box that's been used to display many prices and games. Me and a friend at work started new characters (I had no choice since I'd left it too long to retrieve my old ones) and are working through together with a few other people. We're about lvl 12-15 ATM (I'm 14.). Enjoying it much more playing with someone else. Before I only knew someone who was a much higher level and got bored pretty quickly with soloing. If I'd forked out full price for a game I'd want it mint, otherwise it wouldn't bother me too much. I think I've had similar experiences with Game/Station.
