  1. Report a Bug! [Read OP first]

Every so often I'm getting an issue where buttons just aren't clickable. This includes the quick reply at the bottom of threads, clicking into it doesn't actually let me type. It's raising null errors in the JavaScript console.
  2. Monster Hunter Stories (3DS 2016)

Available on the Nintendo Official Store for £35. Weirdly this is currently the lowest price and it includes the Monster Hero Set DLC.
  3. Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon

Editions up at GAME now. Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon Dual Edition £90 Pokemon Ultra Sun Fan Edition £50 (@Glen-i) Pokemon Ultra Moon Fan Edition £50 Pricey but they don't seem to be exclusive to GAME so we can hope they'll be available cheaper elsewhere. Just going to take this opportunity to remind you that the games by themselves are available at Base for £32 each. Pokemon Ultra Sun £32 Pokemon Ultra Moon £32
  4. Virtual Reality

I finally got around to buying Star Trek Bridge Crew. I bought it on PSVR because it was cheaper than Steam. It's a very bare bones game but you can't beat the feeling of captaining a starship. I've only been playing it with AI and everything works nice and smoothly. Impressed by the recently added Watson voice commands. The crew seemed to pick up everything I was saying accurately. I might even go as far to say it's the most accurate voice interaction I've come across, Alexa included. I'm still having issues with tracking on the PSVR. The console I'm sitting at in the game seems to drift around whenever I move my head, it starts to become really disorientating after a while. I was sitting in complete darkness to play it today in attempt to stop it from happening, didn't work though.
  5. Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon

Now I'm not sure which to get to go with the Sun Moon steelbooks that I have, if I even get chance to get any considering how limited stock has been for Nintendo things recently.
  6. Yokai Watch ( 29th April )

Yo-Kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters has been announced for Autumn. Not sure what this has different to the previous two games.
  7. Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon

So are we getting three different steelbooks for this? Ultra Sun, Ultra Moon and Ultra Dual?
  8. Metroid Samus Returns for 3DS (2D Metroid game)

Thanks so much for the heads up! I was at work so I couldn't reply but got the notification so I was able to get on and preorder it (and the two amiibos!).
  9. Metroid Samus Returns for 3DS (2D Metroid game)

I hope this isn't a Game exclusive. I was unable to actually buy it earlier today despite it saying in stock.
  10. General Switch Discussion

Starting to feel like the Switch isn't for those of us who actually bought and supported the Wii U. I wouldn't mind the ports if they weren't taking up slots in the release schedule, but they are so it means that we have to wait longer between game releases. Plus it'd take a bit of the sting away if they weren't priced the same as new games. Even so, I completely understand why Nintendo would want to be republishing the Platinum games. They're very good.
  11. Hey! Pikmin (3DS) - 28th July

That's probably because it's not a great deal. Hey! Pikmin £28 Pikmin amiibo £13 and it keeps going in and out of stock at Amazon for £11. Total = £41
  12. SNES Classic Mini

I managed to get an order in at Argos. I'm not 100% convinced they'll fulfil it, even if they have already taken the money, as I think they might have over sold it. So I'm still looking for elsewhere to order from. I'd be a little surprised to see an N64 next year. The N64 is still quite awkward to emulate and I'm guessing that the SNES mini is actually identical in terms of specs to the NES mini but running a different emulator. Plus, if they follow the same pattern as the NES and SNES, they wouldn't be able to make a N64 controller which had rumble using the Wii expansion port.
  13. SNES Classic Mini

    Their site has died.
  14. SNES Classic Mini

Amazon apparently had more stock in at 4:15pm but they went very fast.
  15. SNES Classic Mini

    I missed it again 😭
  16. SNES Classic Mini

Found this image today: They look like Wii connectors to me, so that's great. It's of the Japanese one but I assume it's going to be the same for us. I'm still gutted I missed out on preorders. 😭
  17. SNES Classic Mini

    I think I've missed it.
  18. SNES Classic Mini

Looks like the controllers aren't Wii controllers. If the picture is an actual model it could be shrunk down SNES pad size.
  19. SNES Classic Mini

So excited! I need a UK and a US one. The SNES is my favourite console of all time.
  20. General Switch Discussion

Tried toggling aeroplane mode on and off?
  21. Arms

Ah completely missed that. I won't be able to make it. Have fun!
  22. Arms

I'll try to be on around 9. I am still terrible with this so apologies in advance to anybody who ends up on my team during the team matches!
  23. 3DS eShop Thread

Thanks for that link. It looks like Modern Horror reuses a lot of the free Modern sprites but darkened. Supernatural I think maps to what Google translate is calling Afraid. Sci-fi 2 looks alright. I can't determine which Modern Set 2 Key is. I should probably prefix how I'm finding this with: My day job is as a web developer (and I did comp sci games dev at uni) so my brain is already wired up to think programmatically. I honestly don't think that matters very much because this is so abstracted from actual programming, but thought it was worth mentioning all the same. It's not super simple but it's not overly complex. It's one of the few games where I wish the physical version would have come with a manual so that I could easily find what I'm looking for. I might be being overly harsh but I don't think the translation is all that great which adds to the frustration when navigating the menus. It's worth noting that there is no sort of tutorial with this. There is no type of scripting in this game at all, unlike in the PC versions. Events are made purely via a click interface with a rather awkward element moving system. I think with a bit of manipulation you could do quite complex things with it. There are limits on the number of items, classes, monsters and worlds you can create but, as of yet, they don't feel overly restrictive. My biggest annoyance at the minute is that it seems like worlds can only be one of three set sizes. That's fine if you want to go bigger because you can stitch the worlds together via events but if you want to go smaller there doesn't seem to be any sort of way to create 'empty space' around the area that you want. And as I've mentioned before, there is no sprite editor at all. So all the games created with it are going to look fairly generic. You can change a single, predetermined, colour on the battle and overworld sprites included but the colours aren't exactly natural so it's not much use.
  24. 3DS eShop Thread

I'm really enjoying RPG Maker FES. I wonder if it's worth picking up the additional sets while they're reduced. I'm guessing these will have already been released in Japan but I'm struggling to find any info about them. The cynical part of me does think that they perhaps didn't add the ability to draw your own sprites using the touch screen purely to sell the DLC.
  25. Metroid Samus Returns for 3DS (2D Metroid game)

That SE looks great. Do we know if it's exclusive to a specific store yet?
