  1. Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit (16th October)

Against my best judgement I took a chance on Base and they have let me down. They let me know today at 3:30pm, so I can't even find somewhere to get it delivered for tomorrow now.
  2. Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit (16th October)

This looks so cool. I can't wait to get it. That track builder though! Nakes me want Mario Kart Maker so that people can enjoy it without needing the space and the gubbins.
  3. Rocket League

https://support.rocketleague.com/hc/en-us/articles/360041075973-How-do-I-Play-Rocket-League-in-Split-Screen-on-Nintendo-Switch- So currently split screen has been removed from the Switch version. This isn't cool when it was one of the features it was advertised with before I paid money for it. Is it bad I'd have rather they renamed it Rocket League 2 and made that free to play while leaving the existing paid one as is?
  4. My Nintendo ( Club Nintendo Successor )

Can get Mario 35th Anniversary Splatfest keychains now using platinum points but at £8 delivery. Is anybody going to bother? https://my.nintendo.com/rewards/3b53e0f5bc3defc7
  5. Super Mario 3D All-Stars (RIP)

I wonder what Galaxy is like when compared to the ones released in China for the NVIDIA Shield. https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2018-super-mario-galaxy-hands-on-with-tegra-x1s-wii-emulator
  6. 3DS eShop Thread

https://delistedgames.com/rodea-the-sky-soldier-leaving-3ds-wii-u-eshop-september-30th/ Just a warning that Rodea is about to be delisted. So is Etrian Mystery Dungeon. Actually worth keeping an eye on that website I’ve linked to. I only discovered it through Forza Horizon 3 being delisted.
  7. Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit (16th October)

I almost ordered both sets before realising that to play multiplayer you'd need two Switches as well! It looks very cool but part of the fun of Mario Kart is the multiplayer.
  8. Pikmin 3 Deluxe

At least those of us who supported them during the Wii U era have got Star Fox Zero, right guys? Edit: For clarification now that I've calmed down, I'm not annoyed with them porting these great games to the Switch so more people can play them. Just that, for us (and I guess that's most of us here), these are re-hashes sold at full retail price. It leaves a sour taste.
  9. Pikmin 3 Deluxe

Pikmin 3 was great on the Wii U but it was really well suited to the two screen setup. Action on screen controlled using Wiimote for pointer controls and then the map on the gamepad. It was really fun. They're quick to mention what's new but this is one of those occasions when we've lost stuff too.
  10. Yeah all fine now. They fixed it within 48 hours. So it was a good CS experience.
  11. Just an update on this in case anybody else is getting Error 9101. You have to contact Pokemon Support to get it fixed. I asked them if it was anything I'd done on my end and if there were steps to avoid it in the future and they said no.
  12. Digital for both Sword and Shield. Both installed and fully up to date. Pokemon Shield has the DLC. Yep I have an active Switch Online subscription. It's very strange and it seems like this 9101 error only started this week. It's only just starting to pop up on the internet.
  13. Pokemon Home is still dead for me. Deleted and reinstalled the app on Switch, it didn’t fix it.
  14. Anybody else getting Error 9101 when trying to login to Pokemon Home on the Switch? I also can't get into it on mobile but that's because it says I'm using it elsewhere. I think it's unrelated to the above though because I've had that before when I've forgot to close it down properly on the Switch.
  15. SEGA Game Gear Micro

They're way too small, they're going to be too difficult to use! I'll take all four, please. I wonder if the games will be different for the Western release. I don't think we ever got a Last Bible game over here, though America did.
  16. Nintendo x Lego collab

This isn't a single set. This is likely the combining of all the sets they're producing. Bit gutted there's no minifigures. But maybe next time.
  17. Nintendo x Lego collab

They've always seemed so reluctant to work with Lego in the past. When ideas have gone through Lego Cuusoo/Ideas in the past they've always been closed down because of a pre-existing relationship with Knex. I don't think we'll get much though. Maybe just a couple of Super Mario sets rather than an entire series.
  18. Pokémon Direct January 9th 2:30 UK Time

I wish the Season Pass was valid for both Sword and Shield. I know most people only have one but there's no way I'm the only person to have both.
  19. Remembering WiiWare

Time for a reminder I think. You will not be able to spend Wii Shop Points past Thursday 31st January 2019. And at some point in 2019 the ability to redownload will be removed too. So remember to get everything downloaded, backed up on SD cards and, if you can, back up your NAND. I've got 10,000 points to use so I had better get planning.
  20. Starlink: Battle for Atlas (do a barrel roll!)

So I got this for Christmas (paid around £20 for it) and I’ve played it for a few hours today. So far I’m enjoying it and I don’t really understand the flak it’s been getting. Would it have been better without all the toys to life gubbins and instead with a normal progression unlock tree? Yeah, it probably would have. I quite like having having Arwing model though. It’s nicely sculpted and the painting is quite good. Weirdly it reminds me of Mass Effect Andromeda which, considering it’s not on the Switch, isn’t an entirely bad thing. The inclusion of StarFox is a nice bonus and it does make you wonder if Nintendo would let Ubisoft make an entire StarFox game using the tools.
  21. General Switch Discussion

Nintendo have now taken the money again for the NES controllers. So I'm guessing they've been despatched or about to be. Only other person I've seen mention that they've ordered them @markderoos
  22. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Yeah I couldn’t do it so I’m leaving it until I’ve levelled my spirits up higher. Similarly, very near to the Rayman one actually, there’s Boss (Metal Gear Solid) who has a 14000 rating who I’m yet to beat. While I’m on the subject of World of Light, I’m actually enjoying it loads more than I expected to. Some of the interpretations of the Spirits using the playable characters, stages and rule sets are really imaginative. The Street Fighter mini area especially. Considering I’ve heard this be called the weakest link in the game, I hope people actually give it a chance. I didn’t expect any third party characters to be part of the Fighter Pass so I’m a bit surprised over Joker (Persona 5) being included. I guess that’s fine though, nice to have a bit of variety. I guess the stage/music in that release will be Persona related too. Considering the recent rumours, I’ll be a little bit miffed if it’s used as a form of advertising for the release of Persona 5 though.
  23. Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 ( Switch Exclusive )

Why have they named this Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3? It doesn't look much like the previous two at all (or the X-Men Legends games prior). If Nintendo are publishing it though, I am interested to see how it turns out.
  24. Wolfenstein II: The New Collosus

This has 50% off in the US eShop, I was sorta expecting this when our eShop updated but it wasn't included. Just mentioning it here in case anybody has a US account and wanted to pick it up. Personally I'm waiting to see if it's included an the EU New Year's Sale.
  25. Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu!

Enjoying playing this much more than I expected to. When it was announced alongside a 'main' Pokemon game I thought we'd be getting a really watered down version. I think the 'main' game will be the same as Let's Go but with the catching changed to include fights again (and retaining the throw your own Pokeball mechanic). Then the Candys will be replaced with EVs again. I do have one nitpicky Issue with the game. The button prompts don't follow the Nintendo-standard way of showing them. So A is named rather than it being the "right on the diamond" icon. In a similar vein, the button prompts remain the same even when you're playing with the Pokeball (or two player). Would it be so difficult to replace Y prompts with the Pokeball icon with wavy lines either side to show shake? Also shake doesn't always equal Y. For example, in battle you can't check move info.
