Played a few games. It's good fun, but if you asked me to say why it was different to the original Splatoon I wouldn't be able to answer. I don't think I played against any of you guys, I didn't recognise any names. This actually annoys me beyond Splatoon. Why can't I use the touchscreen for the inventory in Zelda?

It's official. Nintendo Wii U version scrapped in favour of a Nintendo Switch version.

That collector's edition is very neat looking. Definitely going to pick it up (as long as I don't miss it!).

Other than the smaller screen there'd be no price reduction at manufacturing level and even that would most likely be offset by needing to have a second production line. The performance, and most of the features, are from the stock NVIDIA Tegra X1 that they're using.

Might pickup SMT4A at that price. Anybody got any thoughts on 7th Dragon?

Oooh. I've been looking at this for the Wii since it was released years and years ago. Might pick up the Wii U version of it for £2.24. I think it's purely touchscreen input though and doesn't support the Wii Remote.

This USB-C extender can be used to extend the port inside the dock. So you don't have to put the Switch into the dock at all.

We knew this would be the case but it's a shame that Nintendo are forcing price parity between eShop and Retail. I understand that it's to keep the retail partners on side but with Nintendo not being very good at organising sales on the eShop it means they're always going to look overpriced.

Just saw this on HUKD and thought it was worth mentioning in here: Yo-Kai Watch 2: Fleshy Souls £28 (£26 for Prime) Yo-Kai Watch 2: Bony Spirits £28 (£26 for Prime) So what are the differences between the two versions? Are they both worth picking up?

Anybody else getting some odd glitches where floor debris seems to fall from the sky in slow motion? I'm getting it every so often.

Weirdly I'd quite like the ability to play in handheld mode with only one JoyCon detached. Anybody else tried to do this only to have it complain that you don't have a controller?

From what I've played of it, it's not a bad game by any stretch but it does follow in the barebones footsteps of the recent Mario Sports games.

Yeah this is super annoying. I hope they sort it out in a future update. It's bugging me enough that I think I might just drop the Japanese account. Even if the Tetris demo is pretty fun!

Ashley just posted this up on the site about the Temporal Battle Arena DLC.

So it looks like this is coming to the Nintendo Switch instead now. It's a little bit of a shame, I was looking forward to the second screen experience. Not to mention not all Wii U backers will have bought a Nintendo Switch so it's a bit of a "screw you" to them.

Currently £14 on PSN if you're a PS Plus subscriber or the same for a physical copy on Amazon. The new updates are making the right noises for me. I'm thinking about picking it up. Though I'm still torn between PS4 or Steam. Edit: Yeah none of the posts above mine showed up when I first came into the thread so excuse the repeating of the pricing info!

Oh bugger off motion controls. Mine keep getting massively out of sync and, without going to the system menu, there doesn't seem to be a way to reset it. Trying to do the shrine with the motion puzzles.

When I tried playing this online I had cars jumping all over the place. I think the wifi issues that some people are having are related. At the minute there's no friends multiplayer, it's only with randoms. But they are fixing it in an update.

I have the licensed Hori case. It's a hard case that fits the console + Joy-Cons. It stores game cards in the top and they're protected from the console screen by a padded flap (the only case I could find which does so). It also has an elasticated strap that the documentation says is for accessories. I tried to fit the Joy-Con straps in that section but it felt like it was putting too much pressure on the screen. Has anybody had chance to use a USB-C hub with HDMI out yet? Just wondering if there's an alternative to the dock yet. It's so unwieldy and the reports of it scratching the console have me worried every time I dock it. I'm terrible at applying screen protectors so I don't really want to go that route.
