It won't get a 10, Wind Waker HD will get 8's from most reviewers, with all reviews including a paragraph about how this game shows that the WiiU is pointless and that it won't save the Wii U.

They should at least make the NFC figures a Club Nintendo reward like those Kid Icarus cards, but then I guess that would actually make Club Nintendo relevant... I'd be very surprised if they do skip bringing those figures to the West, I doubt they would have trouble getting stores to stock Pokemon related items, not to mention it would be a profitable venture.

If only the Wii virtual console would be included, there's still some games I want to pick up on it. It's ridiculous that I have to add money to two different wallets on the same console if I want to buy a game off the Wii virtual console then buy one off the WiiU virtual console.

T Rating is not surprising, rating boards can be very schizophrenic. In Australia Atelier Totori on the PS3 was rated PG13+ while the Vita port was rated R18+... I really never understand why people wanted this game to be localised. It seems to have sub par gameplay and has only reach notoriety through the copious amount of fan service that is included in the game.

Um, do you understand basic economics? Supply and demand influence the price of goods. Retailers will reduce the price of their stock when needed to clear shelves so they can display merchandise that sells. Core Nintendo games on the other hand have a habit to sell for years, regardless of the price. Which is why retailers continue to order more stock from Nintendo and continue to stock their shelves with them. This isn't some grand conspiracy, I can currently get a copy of Metroid Other M for under $15. Games like Hotel Dusk and Last Window are pretty cheap as well. Nintendo only reduce the wholesale price of their games when demand wanes or is non existence. If price fixing existed, games like Sin and Punishment 2 wouldn't have bombed in price. Second hand prices aren't because they are more rarely traded in, it's because retailers generally price used games close to the price of a new copy. And since games like Mario Galaxy, DKC Returns and Mario Kart haven't really dropped in price as stated above second hand copies aren't going to be that much cheaper. In Australia anyway, most cheap second hand games are games that are out of print and the store no longer sells new copies of it.

I played the demo at PAX Australia on the weekend, i'm not currently a fan of this game. I found the camera very disorientating (though I only played two levels so perhaps I could get used to it) and the fact that all the other players were going off in various directions pulling the camera towards them didn't help either.The cat suit seemed like a cheat device to me with the ability to climb to the top of the finish pole and to make the boss fight substantially easier by being able to climb up the tentacles of the boss instead of jumping across the platforms that varied in height to attack the head of the boss. From the little I've played I know that I won't be picking this up at release.

If Nintendo wants to antagonise the internet they should just fully fund Shenmue 3. The internet would explode.

I want to buy it, can't find it anywhere cheap to import from the UK though. (Nintendo Australia decided to not release it at retail here, it only got a very delayed e shop release). The game has perked my interest for a while now.

People are still complaining about the price? Weren't games that didn't have a PAL release sold at a premium price during the Wii days? I swear Ogre Battle 64 costs more than other 64 virtual console games. There's nothing new here, the people that are complaining about the price have probably already downloaded the rom years ago anyway. If you aren't happy with the price don't buy the product, that's how our capitalist society operates.

"Over here" refers to Australia, I probably should be a bit clearer considering this a European forum. :P I sent a twitter message to Ghostlight a while back, apparently none of the retailers in Australia wanted to stock it.

So they are basically taking the same approach Gaijinworks/Monkeypaw did with the physical release of Class of Heroes 2, except that they also released the game digitally. It's hard to justify getting Devil Survivor 2 when the 3DS version is around the corner, though due to the potential limited release the PAL version may be somewhat of a rarity. I still need to import Overclocked, it never saw a retail release over here strangely, even Virtue's Last Reward saw a limited release.

Do we even know who's publishing it in PAL regions yet? I'm guessing it's either NIS or Nintendo. There's such a large concentration of RPGs set to release during the second half of this year.

I thought last we heard we didn't know who was publishing it, just that it's coming. NIS is doing Soul Hackers and Etrian Odyssey 4 correct?

There's no point to localise Fire Emblem Gaiden (FE2) that game is very outdated atm and isn't really worth playing unless you're a die hard Fire Emblem fan. There would be very little profit on localising decade old games (The only reason we saw Sin and Punishment was because they were already sitting on a partially finished translation from back in the 64 days when NOA were planning on releasing it, not to mention it's an arcade rails shooter, not a fully fledged RPG). I guess we could see a Mother 1 localisation considering they had translated that game back in the day and are probably still sitting on it. The best course of action would be to remake Fire Emblem Gaiden, Seiken no Keifu, Thracia 776 and Blazing Blade like they have already remade FE1 and 3. FE1 is outdated these days, considering it's been remade twice (In FE3 and Shadow Dragon). The only logical one for them to localise would be New Mystery of the Emblem (FE12) since it's a recent release and should have been localised in the first place.

They never received money from the Canadian Government, I don't know why that fallacy continues to be spread around. There's plenty of true facts to discredit Dyack floating around. Regardless Dyack is a fool. Silicon Knights would still be around if he didn't decide to sue Epic, Epic were never going to bother with a lawsuit, Dyack forced the issue. Yep the footage from the latest Nintendo Direct shows that it looks a lot better in motion when compared to still shots. Still not sure if i'll be picking this up, haven't even finished Pikmin 1 yet.

I believe most people think it's a sub average 3D platformer and only its humour makes the game stand out.

It's strange, I've never played a SMT game but i'm thinking about picking this up. I guess I have to start somewhere.

Iwata seems to want to push Dragon Quest in the west. Wouldn't be surprised if this is published by Nintendo.
