this game is beginning to grate on my nerves now. the ship battles are so incredibly annoying. why oh why do you have to watch the ships fly around. these battles really let the game down in a big way

I've got my game and been playing for 8 hours already. It's good, but not really got me the way Tales of Symphonia and Baten Kaitos did. And I doubt it will. The battles are ok, but not quite as interesting or spectacular as the other 2 RPG's. Also, the musical score is not even nearly as good. Obviously, the graphics are dated and they do make me cringe sometimes. I'm sure the Dreamcast could have done better. Some of the character models are shockingly awful, just ugly in fact. Also I didn't realise you had to boot the GC up with the freeloader everytime you want to play import game. That would mean alot of swapping discs for this game.

Well i shall visit town less when it happens. It's not just Game as I could not find the Gamecube 'New' shelf anywhere in Gamestation today. Sure, they had a shelf of previously owned games, but there were no new ones. A bit surprised I was. Oh well, last 2 games I think I'll be buying brand new are Zelda and Baten Kaitos 2

I've got Star Fox Adventures. I think it's quite good. Didn't think much of Splinter Cell personally. Too much trial and error.

goodluck on getting Baten Kaitos for cheap though. On Ebay, expect to pay about £20 for pal version, and £15 for NTSC. I've completed mine, and think very highly of it as you can see from my list.

get both. subscribe to nintendo mag and get it for tenner plus mags, and find a really cheap version of the original on Ebay. Should be fiver or less. £15 for both is not bad going is it?

i did really like it but never finished it although i think i got quite far. chapter 5 or 6. been meaning to get back to it, but i kinda got stuck with one of the bosses - it was huge. it's been 3 or 4 years since i last touched it.

yes, its because less people buy it on the Cube and there are less copies going around, 2nd hand or new. Try ebay or buy import copy

not really a surprise if it comes out in November. Somewhat expected actually, but what will we play until then if Zelda comes out then as well. It would be a bit silly to bring them both out in the same month, so maybe they'll shift it forward to October

every new game for the Gamecube is welcome especially when the Cube doesn't have many shooters in that genre

Just won this game on ebay. NTSC version, it better work with my Action Replay. So can't wait to get hold of it now. How does this compare with Tales of Symphonia and Baten Kaito, for people who'te played all 3?

it's a great game especially when you get further into the game and you get some awsome attacks. as you can see from my top 5, I rate it very highly. Tales of Symphonia just edges it for me because It's got better voice acting and better characters.

excellent. i very much liked Baten Kaitos so I can't wait for this. May have to import the US version.

i say yay. not just for the story and characters, the sublime realtime battles, and the fantastic musical score.

yeah true. i might just go for ntsc as i have a action replay which i think came with freeloader software. which i have never used by the way. so this might be the time to finally put it to some use. i'd prefer pal but i don't think i'm prepared to pay more than £30 that's for sure. Baten is very good. it's in my top 5 Cube games. it gets better and better as you go on.

I want this game now. been thinking lately which Cube games to catch up on and couldn't really think of anything. Just got Killer 7, but I think I'd really like Skies. but I'm not paying that much for it. cheaper to get a dreamcast with it on i think.

I've just started this, and althoug I really like the visual style, I'm stuggling a bit to get really into it. Maybe it's because I'm only on the 1st level, but so far a bit bemused with the puzzles, and still getting used to the controls. I think I need to put more time into it, but need to be in the right mood because of the content.

is this game annouced for Europe yet. probably not coming

Finally completed the game for 2nd time, this time on hard difficulty. definitely worth 2nd play through to get all the characters on your side you missed the 1st time. brilliant spent way over 100 hours on this game.

looks like i'm way behind you. 40+ hours and still counting.
