  1. Rumor: RE2 Wiimake

You know, as much as I want this to be true. I really doubt it is. I mean, there's supposedly to be info on it in the latest Famitsu. Since this is the internet we're talking about, shouldn't those scans have surfaced already? Im not saying there's no possibility of Capcom working on a RE2: Wii Edition. It's just that this story that's going around screams fake. The source? A bulletin board post... How credible is that? :P
  2. Disaster: Day of Crisis

I am confident that Monolith is a very capable developer. Because we havent seen anything from them doesnt mean they arent working on stuff. D:DOC was supposed to be released in July in Japan, but due to the earthquakes in Asia, it was apparently delayed. Hence we havent heard much about it since. Now that things have cooled down about, I bet it's time to put this game back on the schedule. The Nintendo now, isnt what they used to be. They like to go the Apple-way: Announce things and release very soon afterwards. Let the marketing machine start after two week prior to release and continue long after it. Having said that, I still doubt we'll see this game this year. Hope it's a well put together game. As for Zoonami? Dont get me started on it. It's a small team and only one guy from the infamous Goldeneye-team. They've been around since the early Cube day and we still havent seen anything from them. So far, they've been getting more credit than its due. Heck, I might even give Nibris more credit than Zoonami...
  3. Disaster: Day of Crisis

Will it be true? Really? Two months from now? I doubt it, let's hope im wrong though.
  4. Kizuna

Sounds intriguing. Now this is really starting to get somewhere with the third party games Color me interested!
  5. Rumor: RE2 Wiimake

I'll believe it when i see the first screens or scans. Still, it would be so awesome if it were true. Should they decide to use the RE4 viewpoint, I'd imagine they would truly remake the game. Re-designed levels to accommodate the camera, but keeping the story in tact. They've already got the Ada and Leon models. Story is there. I could see this happening. For now, it's still wishful thinking.
  6. Arc Rise Fantasia (Marvelous/Image Epoch)

Arent those scans old? i remember having seen the screens. I totally forgot about this game. Looks promising
  7. Marbles! Balance Challenge

Kororinpa was a great title. Great fun, shame it was kinda short and there wasnt much incentive to go back an replay the thing. The sequel looks to add a lot more stuff to it. Sounds good! Hard Working People? A typical Japanese title getting a European release? Awesome Quirky!
  8. New Capcom Wii Title Still Coming

Um, yeah, like i said in my post. Anyway, this looks damn fine. There are actually some characters from the Tatsunoko side that I know. Game seems to run pretty smoothly as well. I'd love to see a Wii-version, but then it'll need to support the CC or GC controller. It's kind of a limited market for Capcom to sell. Will they take the risk? As for the characters, I like these models a lot more than the SF4 ones. They may be more technically advanced, but the art direction in this title is a lot better.
  9. New Capcom Wii Title Still Coming

I thought the unannounced Wii Capcom title was Dead Rising. But then again, I certainly wouldn't mind this fighting title on Wii. It does seem to mention a Wii-version in its original Japanese text. Still, this site isn't any official source so we'll see if it's true at all.
  10. Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn

To make the most of the game, you need to plan ahead which units you want to use. But this Fire Emblem has that more than any other before it, at least the ones released in the West. It's really hard to train some characters if they're only available for a few chapters only to return halfway through the game. Then again, this game tend to have more enemies than POR too, so there's enough opportunity if you're willing train specific units.
  11. Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn

Ah, great to see this topic pop-up again. Cuz right now, Im really immersed in this game. I'm on Normal mode Part 3-7 I believe. Story really gets interested and epic now. I havent tried Hard mode yet (for obvious reasons), but so far I gotta say this game is a lot harder than POR. Im going through POR's Hard mode as well, and it's like RD's Normal mode. Maybe I just trained my units better in my second playthrough in POR. I too have read that Aran is supposed to be pretty decent. Some prefer him above Nephenee and we all know how popular she is and what a monster she can become.
  12. Fatal Frame 4

No a bad start I tell ya. I thought it would sell around 20K. Good opening. I wonder if the bugs will have any negative effect on the game's sales. Whatever the effect, I expect it to drop off the top ten next week and end up selling around 70K LTD in Japan. I really want to get this game in Europe. March 09, Nintendo, announce it!
  13. Fatal Frame 4

Great review for both Fatal Frame and Fire Emblem. Can't wait for both!
  14. Fatal Frame 4

Two new gameplay videos have showed up. I bet it's from the first 10 or so minutes of the game. http://it.youtube.com/watch?v=GxkZ01dCAck http://it.youtube.com/watch?v=95EOsfVNJiA It's freaky alright. Can we handle it? :P
  15. Red Steel 2 (£4.95 @Zavvi)

I maybe in the minority, but I too had enjoyed RS a lot. Sure, it was rough around the edges and definitely a lot of bugs and design flaws. But I found the style a breath of fresh air for FPSes. If they can improve and fix the things that were wrong, add in an expansive online/offline MP component, we should have a winner at hand. View it from this angle: Rather another disappointing Red Steel 2 than a Imagine: Red Steelz
  16. The screens seen here, while mostly the same as before, don't look half as bad. Then again, they're no full-blown screens and still magazine scans... What amazes me though, is how good my Wii games look on any TV (SDTV and HDTV) compared to what I've seen of screenshots online. So Im willing to wait till I see it for real. I think we shouldn't expect RE4-like quality, since RE4 had a lot less enemies on screen and I'm not expecting the Capcom team to improve on the engine with this game. Definitely excited though. Hopefully it'll see a release in Europe this year.
  17. Call of Duty: World At War

Somehow I have a feeling this game doesn't support the Zapper as a separate mode like in MOHH2, but as the default playing mode. Which means, you move with the nunchuk and shoot with B button. If true, that means there aren't a lot of buttons supported A, D-pad, plus, minus, 1 and 2 are all but unused. Leaving only the C and Z buttons for other functions. Hope Im wrong though.
  18. Fatal Frame 4

my bad. I meant the voice-overs of course The new details from Gonintendo sound good. http://gonintendo.com/?p=50348
  19. Fatal Frame 4

Yeah, please dont to english subs. They usually sounds horrible!
  20. Fatal Frame 4

This is hands down my most wanted Wii game at the moment. I love Japanese horror movies, this game will crap my pants We havent heard ANYTHING about a Western release, I just hope we'll see it soon. Preferably at the end of this year in Europe, since Nintendo doesnt have much to offer anyway.
  21. Official Issues and Problems Thread

Well, I haven't been following this thread actually. So I'm not sure it's in the correct forum and if it's asked before. For awhile now, I have my Wii connected to a new router (Sitecom WL-173), which is suited according to the compatibility list on Nintendo's site. I can get connected to it and get surf the net, go to the Shop Channel, but somehow it manages to lose my connection the moment I turn off the Wii. It very annoying and I have no idea what's wrong. The a Turbo mode on this router, but i haven't enabled it. Somebody got a similar problem?
  22. Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn

Ah, yeah i get that. Should be a good alternative then. Still, it's not the in-game 'Suspend and return to title screen' other games had, even in Normal mode.
  23. Sonic and the Black Knight

I've never played Sonic and the Secret Rings, but wasn't that supposed to be a rather decent game. Maybe it's because it was being compared to the 360/PS3 Sonic game, haha. Sega doing a sequel to that game seem pretty fine with me. But Sonic with a sword? The biggest WTF moment of this year. It seems like there are so many Sonic games lately. What's going on? Anyway, I'll wait and see how this one pans out before thrashing it.
  24. Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn

Hm, so my assumptions were right then. Seems like I'll have to unlock Hard Mode first. Seems like even such a hardcore game like Fire Emblem has a 'casualized' mode then. I welcome it, but it's just kinda annoying when you want to restart your chapter, you need to be Game Over or resetting your Wii. Alright enough bitching then On with the game!
  25. Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn

Oh, that's not what i meant. My point is, in previous games, it was possible to instantly go back to the title screen. Usually that was when you suspended the game. In Radiant Dawn, there doesn't seem to be such an option. The only way to go back to the title screen is to wait for the Game Over screen or resetting the Wii. There gotta be an easier way right?
