  1. BTW, we're due some info about the upcoming Fire Emblem Engage DLC (and also well past overdue some DLC for Three Hopes, seriously! I'm shocked that they haven't announced a season pass yet!). Likewise, we'll probably see Wave 4 announced for MK8DX as well. Otherwise, I expect this to be very heavy on TOTK (at least 15 mins dedicated to that game alone) and 3rd party titles (Perhaps even including the rumoured Baten Kaitos remake?)
  2. Wow! Bloody hell! Great job Cube! I would never have thought of using Tabletop Simulator to preserve an old board game like this, but that's incredible that you pulled that off! Kudos! Have you thought about getting into contact with Sonic Retro about this? I bet they'd be thrilled to be able to share your recreation! They're nuts about preserving every last thing with the Sonic series! (No, seriously! You really should share the Workshop Link with them!)
  3. And there's the usual February Direct, right on cue! All I want is Advance Wars Reboot Camp. Please don't let it suffer the same fate as Starfox 2!!!
  4. Bloody hell! These LCD games are like little tumours that just keep popping up after you squash them!
  5. Whelp! Mario Party 1 is finally over, and with that? My cheating luck along with it… An appropriate summary of this week Thanks for the games guys! See you all next week
  6. Why isn't it February 16th yet?
  7. Knuckles Chaotix is a real shame. The concept definitely has potential (so much so that it’s no surprise that SEGA revisited the concept not once, but twice! With Sonic Heroes and Sonic Advance 3). The level design is just so utterly, stonkingly shite though; you’d think it was designed by Virgin Interactive. BTW, you’re absolutely right to think that @Cube. Sonic Jam’s Sonic World was made with leftover assets from a cancelled 3D Sonic game (which was eventually retooled into Sonic Adventure).
  8. Kinda crazy that this game's demo has more content than many rhythm games do in total!
  9. I’m off this coming Thursday & Friday. Don't worry @BowserBasher, the suffering is almost over

  11. Wahey!!! Get in Sam! @S.C.G, @BowserBasher Get in the voice chat!
  12. I think you've categorically shown that there are WAY too many Sonic LCD games...
  13. Man, playing this game with the NSO N64 controller is such a treat! Game looks and runs incredibly well on Switch; seeing Goldeneye run at a consistent 30FPS instead of the, like, 5FPS of the original N64 cart is so weird, but so nice! Controls are spot on as well. With the N64 NSO controller it feels exactly how it should. Well haps! Can't wait for Perfect Dark on Switch! 60FPS with none of the terrible gameplay rebalancing and awful artistic changes that plagued the Xbox 360 version! AND it'll be portable to boot!
  14. If you're using the official GCN controller adapter? Afraid not. There's no way to remap the buttons for the GCN controller when using the GCA (The Switch Home Menu just blocks you from doing so, for some stupid reason), which locks you out of using the N64's Z button (Since that gets mapped to ZL rather than L)... If you have an 8bitdo G-Bros adapter though? You can use that instead though, since it tricks the Switch into seeing the GCN controller as a Switch Pro Controller (where you CAN then remap the controls). BTW, we're planning on playing Mario Party tonight at 20:00 if you're up for joining us!
  15. BTW, for those wanting to play G-E with "modern" dual stick controls on Switch? It's absolutely possible! By using two separate "pairs" of Joycons, using them as mismatched pairs and selecting the 2.4 "Goodhead" controller option; you get true dual analog controls for both movement and aiming!
  16. As it turns out, all that outrage over the sound in Goldeneye was premature; because the actual NSO release functions perfectly fine, with the proper "gong" sound as in the original release. What? Internet jumping to conclusions? Never! More importantly... FINALLY!!!
  17. 1.2 Solitaire/“Turok Controls” 4 lyfe!
  18. That’s way earlier than I was expecting!! Great to see that they’ve added 16:9 support to the NSO emulator (the game always supported anamorphic widescreen originally, but Nintendo have never supported said feature with any of their previous N64 emulators). Cant wait! N-E All Proximity Mine Nights let’s go!
  19. Just starting Chapter 5 now… that’s some difficulty spike huh? Playing on Hard Mode Classic BTW. The difficulty is quite nice; game is putting up a good fight, feels well balanced and even the Engage moves don’t feel stupidly broken! Defo feels like the intended way to play so far (especially compared to the utter pushover that is Normal Mode from what I’ve seen; I really like how the AI plays far more aggressively on Hard Mode!). Still not sure how I feel about the lack of weapon degradation though… It works in SoV because of your woefully limited inventory space, but here? I’m not seeing why I’d ever bother to equip the weaker weapons in favour of always using the strongest equipment all the time later on? Magic also seems crazy OP so far, especially since there is no penalty for using it whatsoever here! (No weapon degradation and no HP draining?, ALA SoV, just seems busted!). In turn, it also makes me question the value of the game’s economy when your weapons all have infinite usage anyway… why bother buying weapons at all? (Until maybe the end-game where you might want some extra Silver Weapons?). The skills on offer seem almost overwhelming in their potential complexity though. There is a LOT going on here! I can only imagine the dizzying array of stuff I’m gonna need to keep track of later on! Loving it so far, though I do have to say that I feel that the UI is a bit cumbersome… It feels like a two screen game that has been uncomfortably shoved onto one. If I didn’t know any better? You could easily fool me into thinking that this was originally a Wii U game that was cancelled and then ported to Switch. Probably would’ve been better if they just reverted to the classic GBA/GCN style interface, rather than try to emulate the DS/3DS FE games’ UI design. Also… Octopath Traveller called. It wants its Break mechanic back
  20. Holy crap! The story and characters are fucking shit aren’t they? Gameplay’s tops though!
  21. I wonder if those Joycons could be modded with OEM GameCube controller parts…
  22. The reviews were rigged and they’re STILL savage!? Jesus… this is going to be Square’s biggest financial disaster since The Spirits Within…
